Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Plattsburgh

Nothing really.

We could only watch 1 channel on tv. There were about 12 flies in our room.
We had to vacate at 10pm with a 4yo child

Manager never called back with our issues, we had 5 family members staying in 4 rooms. some for 3 nights, some for 2 nights. We had many issues in front desk from handling my account, another customer given a key to my room. I felt front desk was not trained well enough to handle this and could not get answers or help from the manager that i was told was not there on any days we stayed.

Well very disappointing. Pulled out the sofa bed and a brown stain on the mattress cover. Which I was told from the girl when I asked to have it changed that there should have been sheets on it. So yeah to cover the brown discusting stain. So gross. And the fridge and microwave was not working. My husband needed the fridge for his insulan for his diabetes. They could not change my room or get another fridge. Not to mention the bagged breakfast for the mariott is kind of a turn off and disturbing.

The staff.

The room itself was comfortable, but everything else was extremely disappointing. The pool was closed — which was very frustrating, as it was the main reason we chose this hotel. There were several other options in town we could have booked instead.

We also attempted to use the patio area and ended up getting locked out. We had to bang on the door for someone to let us back in, only to be told the door was broken. A simple sign would have prevented that situation.

The staff was unfriendly and seemed uninterested in helping guests. When we came in around 8 PM to purchase water and snacks, no one could be found.

Our room was also not properly stocked — not enough towels and only one packet of coffee, even though two people were staying in the room.

It’s been a while since I last stayed with this brand, and unfortunately the experience did not live up to the standard I expected.

Breakfast was grab and go. Would be nice to have a waffle machine

This place is falling apart at the seams…
They had a pipe burst flooding the building and so there were a ton of industrial fans running constantly.
They’re key pads for room keys weren’t working and so the front desk agent had to let us in and out of the room each time.
These were a known issue and wasn’t disclosed at booking until we arrived to check-in.
The food was SAD truly. They had that pre made bacon (FAKEON LOL), Premade breakfast sandwiches in plastic served COLD no microwave in the breakfast area so I had to go up to the room to warm them.
The bed was decent but for a hotel in PLATTSBURGH in January you’d think there would be a nicer comforter on the bed it’s freezing! The pillows could be upgraded. The whole experience just felt cheap for not a cheap bill!!
