The bed was not comfortable for me. The first room was not clean and there was a dead roach and bugs inside. The rooms needed maintenance as they were tired. I didn't sleep well.

A very memorable stay - with an incredible traditional lunch!
Pros:

Kamal and the staff were very accommodating and helpful and the chef prepared an incredible rice and curry buffet, served in traditional woven plates, clay pots and banana leaves and all my favourite dishes - gottukola sambol from the hotel garden itself, mango curry, bean curry, chicken curry, carrot papadam ...probably one of the best rice and curry lunch buffet I have had and I lived in Sri Lanka for 5 years. I even mentioned that I would have liked to eat banana flower curry (kehel muwa) and the chef overheard and made it for us in the evening as a surprise!
The hotel even kindly organised some paper printouts for us, allowed friends and family to join us in the pool for our last day in Sri Lanka before relocating overseas and made our last day very special and memorable. This will definitely be our go to place once we return for our holidays.

Cons:

The food took a while to prepare but given the quality...very understandable!

Would definitely recommend to anyone and we would return!
Pros:

Staff was so friendly and welcoming. It felt like a true home away from home. Very nice property design and decorations. Loved all the plants and birds.

Cons:

Food was fantastic but really took a long time to come out. Internet wasn’t strong enough for my remote work or streaming movies in our room. We would have stayed longer if it was!

Petit hôtel sympa belle piscine affaire familiale. Personnel très gentil attentionné. Petit dej copieux. Restaurant simpe mais bonne cuisine . Très bien à l arrivée ou au départ du Sri Lanka. Service chauffeurs excursions et transfert.

Pros:

J'avais prévu de passer 5 nuits dans cet hôtel mais j'ai décidé de faire une excursion pour ne pas y rester: bruyant car trafic routier et aérien incéssant / manque d'hygiène et d'entretien / nourriture au restaurant plus que douteuse / petit-déjeuner pas frais. En revenant à l'hôtel quelques jours plus tard, ils m'avaient changé de chambre sans mon accord. De plus, l'endroit joue la carte ecologique mais laisse de pauvres oiseaux dans une volière sans eau propre, sans apport quotidien de nourriture et dans des conditions insalubres. Cet hôtel est décidément trop cher pour le service qu'il propose et manque de beaucoup d'éthique.
