Homewood Suites by Hilton New Braunfels

The whole stay was wonderful!!!!!

I liked our stay here. The location was ideal. The room was ample and very clean. We did encounter a few issues which is that I was given the choice of selecting my room, but when we arrived we were told it was not available. Also, there is a bar across from the hotel which played loud music until about 2am. Also, the breakfast is very basic. I expected a better breakfast given the cost of the room.

We have throughly enjoyed our stay at the Homewood Suites in New Braunfels.

My family and I stayed in a suite during a planned family trip, and overall we had a good experience. The location was excellent—close to plenty of shopping and restaurants, and only about 10 minutes from Schlitterbahn Waterpark. The suite itself was spacious, comfortable, and well worth the cost. The only downside was with housekeeping. During routine service, our dirty towels were removed, but no clean towels were left to replace them. It was an inconvenience that could have been easily avoided. Aside from that issue, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again because of the great location and value.

Room was spacious and clean. Coffee maker did not work and staff replaced it promptly. Pull out be from couch was comfortable enough for a teenager.

While the stay was nice enough, there is room for improvement. There are no sun bathing chairs by the pool. Was a little disappointed by this. The suite I booked did not have more than three spoons, a few eating utensils and only one slotted spoon to cook with. Luckily we were not wanting to cook or needing to extend our stay. The breakfast the next day was a little lacking. Most hotels serving breakfast have pancakes or waffles especially for the kids. There was also no silverware and paper plates & disposable utensils are what is used here instead of china/stoneware. I was honestly expecting more from a Hilton brand.

The location is great, right next to restaurants and the highway. The staff was friendly, and tried their best to help us.

Overall, we had a great stay and felt the hotel offered excellent value for families.

The hotel has a fresh, updated look, and our room was clean, modern, and well suited for a family. We appreciated having a full-size refrigerator and a kitchenette with plates, utensils, and other essentials. One odd design choice was the lack of a dining table. Instead, there was only a desk with a single chair, despite the room accommodating up to six guests. We also noticed there wasn’t an in-room safe.

We visited over the busy Fourth of July weekend, so the hotel was at full capacity. The only area that struggled was the complimentary breakfast. The staff was clearly working hard, but they seemed understaffed for the volume of guests. Throughout breakfast, they repeatedly ran out of items like juice, milk, rolls, and bacon, and restocking couldn’t keep pace with demand. With such a busy holiday weekend, it felt like better planning could have prevented many of these shortages.

Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay. The small pool was refreshing after a long day, the hotel was comfortable and family friendly, and we felt we received good value for the price. If breakfast service were better organized during peak travel periods, this would have been an even stronger experience.

We spent three nights at the New Braunfels Homewood Suites while on a trip to visit family. We were pleased with everything about the experience - super clean rooms and facilities, great service and attention to our needs, comfortable beds. The breakfast was good and attendants kept everything well supplied. The breakfast room was super clean and comfortable. A special note on the exercise facilities - all the equipment was in tiptop shape and easy to use. Check-in/check-out were simple and efficient.

Great location near food and shopping. Good atmosphere, Staff was friendly, lounge was clean and updated. Rooms were clean, stock and fresh towels everyday. Good value, minimal noise with good amenities (pool, basketball court, breakfast). One thing I would point out was the amount of water at the elevator entrace on the 1st floor and in the elevator (room kids and people from pool). There was a wet floor sign but there should of been someone overseeing it until a solution is found. Ontop of a possible injury, lawsuit and the water creating a bigger mess in a nice hotel.

This hotel checked all of our boxes - pool, fitness, breakfast, refrigerator, and microwave. Staff was very friendly. We will stay here again when in the area. Thank you.
