Great place for skiing with helpful staff and onsen to soak in after skiing. Enjoyed our stay !
The property is close proximity (roughly 4 min walk) to the bus route to near by ski field
Good breakfast and location
The room and new wing lacked seating and storage facilities
This ryokan was a great option for our group of three families. The onsen is divine and the highlight of the trip. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were comfortable and cosy.
The staff were incredible, so warm and accommodating. It is an exceptional property with a luxury inside outside onsen which added to experience.
There is nothing we didn’t like.
温泉很棒,泡着温泉、看着下雪❄️、很舒服,整个人都放松了,真正的度假感。
下午茶糕点很好吃,可以多些口味,量多些,让大家都能尝到这么好吃的美食。
The onsen was great and the annex is good.
For the price we paid, we had expected better. I thought they would clean or change the linen in the room. My niece and I had to endure the cold shower before entering the onsen. The staff said they were not prepared for the sudden cold. I was a little taken back since it was already fall/winter.
Before arriving at the hotel, I contacted them to confirm that both breakfast and dinner were included. However, upon check-in, they immediately changed their statement upon seeing I was a foreigner, denying the included meals. This was completely inconsistent with their earlier promise and showed a dishonest attitude
The Ryokan is very well located and it’s less than 10mins drive to the ski field. The room is spacious for Japanese standard. The Onsen is very authentic and surprisingly quiet. The staff are very friendly and warm. We will return for our next trip.
The location in Hakuba was good and close to the mountains we were traveling to. They have good onsen outdoor/indoor with a sauna, rather small in size, nothing special.
The staff knew zero English. There were absolutely no food facilities available. Even though our booking said we could have pay-for breakfast at the facility, they said it wasn’t available. Also no dinner available even for pay. We drove around the city for an hour looking for an open place to eat. All the places listed on Yelp and Google maps as open were not. It was a ghost town and staff was completely not helpful and not considerate of that.
Lovely new rooms and fit out with a great vibe. The onsen and on site restaurant were fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Close to quieter slopes which we loved. Has a nice store and cafe a 2 min walk away.
It’s in a quieter part of Hakuba but it was fairly easy to get around via uber/taxis
