Stay was as hoped. Old time real service in a beautiful hotel. Gorgeous lake view. Clean room with nice amenities. Real room keys and newspapers in the commons. Excellent food and shops near by. Solid spirit and soul in the inn. If the walls could talk…

A+++ hospitality. The room was tastefully designed and the view of the lake is outstanding! The room service menu was priced appropriately and the food was excellent.

Your inn was recommended to me for its lake access and fine Sunday brunch. Both were wonderful. Parking was easy. Historic aspects were interesting. Staff was terrific.

Everyone was professional and kind. Fitgers was able to financially help me with my room when I was a little short on funds. You don't see that kind of customer service anymore. Thank you Fitger for being there for me.

This is a beautiful, historic hotel. Lobby, halls, stairways and our room were all a treat to the eyes. Our room was clean, beds were perfect & layout with raised area for sitting was a nice touch.

My wife and I stay at Fitger's every year at this time and get great pricing from the management staff, and we love the room we stay in and the lake views are amazing!

Great nostalgia stay, nice having room, dining and bar under the same roof. Staff was pleasant. Valet parking for a cold night and morning.

Have been staying here for decades. It is so quiet and close to Canal Park. It is a mile to walk to the lift bridge on the lakewalk and always fun to do. There is a fridge and small coffee maker but no microwave. There is nothing for breakfast except those cheap snack bars and maybe a banana, that is why I rated it only a four. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Parking is a bit difficult, but if you get there by early afternoon you can snag a spot in the tiny lot. I think they charge in the busy times but I didn't pay in the winter. So many room choices, all with historical touches, very lovely.

So much fun history and so many things to do within walking distance. Lovely staff and food. Hope to stay again many times!

This hotel offers free valet parking, free shuttle service anywhere in the city, a great restaurant on site (Boat Club), and a clean, comfortable room. I highly recommend!

I spent only one night in the Fitger's Inn, but because of the endless possibilities, I had a very full program. The room was very comfortable and clen. The view on the lake was magnificent. I enjoyed the row of shops and restaurants in the basement, but most of all the old equipment and advertising material on display. I had a great dinner at the Tap Room, also recomeded.

Fitgers has a wonderful space and is in a great location along the lake next to the lake walk. Have been coming here for years. The experience is always satisfying.

Would recommend to anyone traveling in the Duluth area! Will come back again when we are in the area.

Train your staff to check on things brought to your room. My pillow came without a pillowcase and was dirty.

Great place to bring the dogs and spend a night or two. The mall has plenty to do and the dogs love walking the hallways.

Honestly the best place that we’ve stayed in Duluth so far. I loved the location and having the shops and restaurants right underneath the hotel was so convenient and made for a really fun night out for us. The room was stunning and the service was truly amazing and everyone was so kind.

Fitgers is a well cared for historic hotel in a beautiful location on Lake Superior.
From front desk and throughout the hotel the service is excellent. Personal friendly knowledgeable people ready to help.
My room had a lake view with doublethick curtains to pull closed at night during a cold front. Comfy bed with overflowing pillows. Two big comfortable chairs and a table.
Bathroom was well appointed with plenty of good towels and Aveda bath products.
There is a shopping area just below the hotel one elevator ride away.
Best bookstore--huge--helpful staff. Lots of gifts.
Clothing stores. Large dog store. A brewery. And more.
Also a nice restaurant just as you exit the elevator.
Fitgers gives a booklet for discounts at many of the stores/restaurant.
They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere you need to go!
