Beautiful, calm and welcoming.
Pros:

The room at Artotel was incredible. Such a lovely spacious room and lovely bathroom. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The rooftop pool area was lovely. The bed was also extremely comfortable especially after a long day of travelling.

Very nice hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Room nice and clean. Matress very comfortable. Breakfast amazing, every day different things from sweet to sour. Good location, nice and relaxing. 150 mt from the beach.

We didn’t stay.
Pros:

We were really looking forward to our stay, however upon arrival we were informed that there would be a party in the hotel bar that evening, with expected noise disturbance.

As we were travelling with four young children under five, a quiet environment at night was very important to us. Hearing this, we felt concerned that the stay would not meet our needs, and we made the decision to leave.

We found the process of resolving the situation with both Booking.com and the hotel quite stressful and disappointing, as we were hoping for more support and understanding given the circumstances.

If you are looking for a peaceful and family-friendly stay, it may be worth checking recent reviews across platforms, as noise has been mentioned by other guests as well.

Amazing!
Pros:

Walking distance to amenities, restaurants, beach, etc. Didn’t actually really need the driver. Very comfy bed as well. Breakfast is always “too much” as there were so many to choose (kids took the opportunity having donuts and waffles for breakfast!). Ordered in-room service a few times and all the dishes taste great too.

But the staff? It’s another story!

They are super friendly, always greet us with smile and try to help us with everything. Well, it’s actually beyond everything.

Can’t thank the staff enough when my husband was having extreme pain on his ankle at 1 AM (for twisting it at golf a month earlier but didn’t get it checked as the pain came and went). I called the receptionist in panic, not only they recommended the hospital, they also provided the car+driver (security guard) who took us there, waited for us until my husband was treated (by the amazing ER doctor by the way), released from the ER and took us back to the hotel at 4 AM. After that, they came up to us and asked if he needed a special diet, should they send food to our room. Every morning after, that security guard greeted us and asked how my husband’s ankle was. Seriously, as someone who has travelled to so many places and receive 5-6-7 star treatments, what the hotel staff were doing was beyond amazing.

The view from the hotel’s rooftop pool is also very nice. My kids went in for a swim by themselves and the staff (not lifeguards) paid extra attention to ensure they were fine, even though I was nearby and they could swim since they were babies.

Cons:

Architecture. Dark. No remote for aircon. Hated the fact that the Tv automatically turned on with setting to inappropriate music every time entered room. It is a little thing that caused me great annoyance. In fairness the staff were quick to disable it. The staff are excellent but the facility is not what I expected in a Bali setting.

Pros:

Komen hier eigenlijk elke keer voor een paar dagen als we naar Bali gaan.
De lychee ijsthee met komkommer is hemels!!!
Rooftopbar is ook een favoriet plekje om tot rust te komen.

Cons:

Ik vind het altijd wel een duur segment, anders zou ik langer blijven.
