It was ok and I don't think I will be returning.
Pros:

The room was very spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The hotel felt and is old. run down. The key didn't work one of the nights due to the battery needing to be changed on the door magnet. I was over charged and it took forever for it to be fixed. The pool bar was closed (due to weather though).

Cool hotel, nice vibe, quiet area
Pros:

Great location just a few blocks from the hubbub of the action. The decor is really cool and has the art deco vibe. Nice bar for ‘happy hour’. The restaurant looked nice but we didn’t eat at the hotel. There is a nice roof top pool but it was raining and over cast during the our stay. Our room was very spacious and the shower was very good.

Unique, comfortable space in a great location. Can't wait to go back!
Pros:

Loved this unique spot that was perfectly located for my work events and also exploring the Garden District and French Quarter. My room with patio was wonderful and quiet, loved the views, comfy bed, and spacious refrigerator. The rooftop pool was a nice place to relax with a glass of wine after a busy work day. The transit pass, morning coffee in the cafe, and amazing music in the on-site music club were big perks. Would totally stay again!

Cons:

My only complaint is the slight musty smell in some of the public areas and hallways. Didn't experience this in my room at all.

Great coffee! Super friendly baristas Creighton, Cameron & Janqueisha. Really great pastries too! Decor and furnishings are cozy and make you want to slow down and hang out.

Weekend 😊
Pros:

The Barnett was a unique gem, the location to our destination was perfect. Our room was clean and fresh. They offered room service and even reached out via text to ensure they were able to give the room a refresh. They have daily activities for guests and staff there are welcoming, kind and understanding. If I'm in the area again I would go back to this hotel. The only thing is the elevator made jerky movements a little scary but we made it each day.

Creighton, Cameron & Janquiesta were all phenomenal. Vibe was great and atmosphere was the best. Can’t wait to be back.
