Billed twice, beware
Pros:

Nice Bar staff, but billed me twice for room. Waa told i would get a credit, no credit as yet

This was a return visit to this hotel, we love the old fashioned country pub atmosphere

Affordable place to stay
Pros:

Room 5 was great with plenty of space across two rooms (living room/kitchenette and bedroom). Everything that we used worked well.

Cons:

Cleanliness in the communal bathroom (only used the first one - opposite Room 2) - the grouting was awful, it looked mouldy, there was dust and grime on the lip running along the wall in the toilet.
The content of the fridge was questionable with food well outside its use by date (left by other guests presumably). Lack of security - anyone could walk in off the street up the stairs and into the property (the pub was closed for the public holiday). No one was onsite except guests which we felt uneasy about.
