This was actually my second stay at this hotel, and it reminded me exactly why I chose to come back. The atmosphere here is peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect quiet location to recharge after a busy day. It’s tucked away enough to be calm, yet still convenient for exploring the city and nearby attractions.

The hospitality is what sets this place apart. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — they really go out of their way to make sure every guest feels looked after. That level of service is rare and makes the experience so much more personal.
The staff honestly make all the difference here. They remember the little details and are always so kind and welcoming — it feels very genuine, not forced. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it’s what stood out to me the most during both of my visits.

My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent for a good night’s sleep, the WiFi was strong and reliable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged, which added to the sense of comfort.
Breakfast was fresh and varied, with plenty of choices to suit different tastes. It felt like great value, especially considering the overall quality of the stay.
I don’t usually return to the same hotel twice, but this one is a real exception. Between the quiet environment, clean and modern facilities, exceptional hospitality, and comfortable rooms, it’s ideal for both business and leisure trips. I’ll definitely be booking here again.

A warm welcome from the Kathmandu Prince Hotel welcoming staff from the moment you arrive sets the atmosphere, and after being shown around the city, the spacious, clean, and comfortable hotel accommodations are excellent for unwinding . The location of the hotel is in close proximity to walks to Thamel, Durbar Square or anywhere in Kathmandu for that matter. Unlimited free Wi-Fi is also very handy to keep you connected. With the hotel being in a full central location, it is still a quiet oasis that all guests can be welcomingly adventurous as well as returning travelers. Each detail coincides with comfort and allows you to depart feeling renewed and restful.

The property is located in the heart of Kathmandu. The prime location enables a visit to multiple points of interest by foot. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and the breakfast was offered with a large variety of a mix of traditional and European foods. The hotel offers sight-seeing services and can manage transportation to the airport as well.
Since the stay was so comfortable, I would recommend the hotel and stay at the hotel in my next visit.

This was the best hotel we stayed at in Nepal (all were 2 or 3 *). We've not seen a shower over bath and air conditioning in any other hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the variety of breakfast food kept it interesting.

Super good value, exceptional staff, great location, good breakfast, cheap taxis across the street. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Rooms are big size, the balconyrooms on sunnyside. Always clean. Location is perfect, quiet and close to many good shops and restaurants. Walking distance to Durbar and Swayambunath. (Cheap taxi distance to other Katmandu sites)

Good location, price value rate

This is the best of many hotels I lived in Katmandu. Great location, quiet street close to Thamel. Staff is the best! Nice big rooms with comfortable beds. Sunny balcony, WiFi and hot water always.
Hard to find better in that price range.
