Excellent stay at Le Vanessa
Pros:

Staff was exceptional. Shuttle was well-staffed and convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Hot tub and sauna area is spacious and well kept. Ski storage was convenient. Well located to shopping, bars and restaurants. Short shuttle to the slope.

Cons:

Family room loft area has a ceiling that is low, making that area less comfortable than was expected. Main bathroom had a hand held shower wand, rather than an overhead shower head.

Spacious comfort with great potential – in need of renovation
Pros:

This hotel in Verbier offers generous spaces, including large rooms, a comfortable bar and lobby area, underground garage, and a pleasant restaurant. The overall infrastructure is solid and provides a good base for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast is served as a buffet with standard options — simple but sufficient. Dinner is also well prepared, offering basic yet tasty dishes. Throughout our stay, the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, which we truly appreciated.
The rooms are spacious, featuring large beds and a generous terrace. However, considering the price level, the rooms would significantly benefit from a complete renovation. The bathroom was relatively small compared to the room size, and unfortunately, the terrace could not be used at all. Access was blocked due to a malfunctioning shutter, and the emergency staircase is located directly in the terrace. Despite reporting the issue, it remained unresolved during our three-day stay.
In summary, the hotel has excellent potential thanks to its space, location, and professional staff, but a modernization of the rooms would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Goede locatie, vriendelijke personeel, sterk verouderd, uitgeleefd en niet schoon. Veel te duur!
Pros:

Locatie top, personeel vriendelijk.

Cons:

A fantastic hotel for families with children of all ages.
Pros:

We loved our stay at Hotel Le Vanessa. The hotel is extremely well located in the centre of Verbier. A five minute walk to the main Medran ski lifts, or their very helpful shuttle will take you and your skis. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a bath as well as a shower - perfect for soothing those muscles after a day on the slopes. We enjoyed several delicious meals in the hotel, including lunch which they made for us when no other guests were dining. The service was impeccable throughout. It was also a bonus that our EV was garaged and charged for us during our stay. Would definitely return.

Cons:

Nothing

Excellent
Pros:

I like everything about the hotel, staff delightful and good Well sized rooms.

Cons:

Th eonly grumble I have is that to have a fried egg or omlette one has to pay extra. Of all the hotels I have stayed at in the world , if you have a Bed and Breakfast package those kind of eggs are included

Excellent stay
Pros:

Impeccable service that you could get in a 5* hotel. I parked in front of the reception, was welcomed by a lovely gentleman who took the car, luggage and ski gear and stored it all away. Check-in was welcoming and efficient. The room was spacious with a walk-in closet and separate toilet to the bathroom. It's pricey for a 4* but I also stayed at the Hotel de Verbier which was a few francs more expensive and not 1/2 as good.

Cons:

not a huge fan of the curtain to close the bathroom which was very small.

Awesome stay at Hotel Le Vanessa
Pros:

Our family just spent a wonderful week at Hotel Le Vanessa over Christmas, and we absolutely loved it. Everything about the hotel is fantastic - it’s the perfect size and feels both welcoming and comfortable. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to restaurants and the central ski lift, plus a convenient hotel shuttle when needed.
The staff were always friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. We stayed in a Suite Chalet, which was incredibly comfortable and perfect for our family of four. I would highly recommend Hotel Le Vanessa and would happily stay there again.

Great location, but not convinced of value for money
Pros:

The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel and the rooms were exceptionally warm (which is a huge plus in the winter season) and the cleaning services were super reliable.

Cons:

The hotel facilities are very limited, breakfast choice is rather limited and it seemed to be super difficult to get sufficient coffee in the morning. You had to order the coffee from the restaurant staff - which normally isn't a problem - but most of the staff gave us a tiny portion of coffee for 1 person (instead of 2 people) so we had to keep on ordering more coffee, again and again.
The dinner menu is also limited, once the staff gave us the wrong dish, another time the staff tried to charge us CHF 9 extra for Evian water, even though we just drank tap water.

Overall, restaurant staff was friendly and helpful, except for one time where one of the waiters at breakfast was in an exceptionally bad mood, couldn't bother looking at their guests..... when we ordered filter coffee, she came back with 2 cups of Nespresso (which we hate) instead of normal coffee.

We stayed at a junior suite, and while the mountain views were fantastic, we felt that calling this room a "junior suite" instead of a standard double room, was a huge overstatement. The facilities in the room were extremely basic, the price however extremely high for what you actually get. Would consider what is value for money, and this one isn't ticking this box.

However, if the hotel was to upgrade facilities and offer better value for money, I would stay there again, as the staff (with the one exception) was really great, the location is excellent and as said before, the warmth of the place was AMAZING.
