Fantastic rooms with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Very comfortable and even top class linens.
Lovely garden to sit in, great food and nothing is too much for the friendly owner and staff.
They also provided me with an excellent guide by the name of Endaye.

Clean, nice place to stay. Rooms have great views of the mountains. Dont forget to plug in the water heater when you arrive.
Since I’ve booked the staff were so attention giving me a huge support with airport shuttle, guide tour (mesfin, the guide could not be better ) tickets and other recommendations. I appreciated a lot my time in Herbe - it’s a quite and relaxing staying in Lalibela.

Located in the heart of this small town among the neighbors, the hotel was clean, safe, and offered a delicious breakfast. The hotel has a unique and stunning architecture, as well as a friendly and helpful staff. It is close to restaurants, a tej bet that has live performances, and close to all the historic sites this town has to offer.

I was extremely pleased with Harbe Hotel as my accommodation choice when visiting Lalibela. I communicated with them in advance to arrange airport transfers and an English speaking guide to tour the churches, and they did not disappoint. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. An excellent experience overall.
I wanted to give a shout out to the hotel and the staff who were warm and friendly to two weary travelers on our recent trip to Lalibela. The room was comfortable, the water was hot and the hotel team ready to help. They even arranged for a tour to the Yemrehana Krestos Church with about 2 hours notice. I highly recommend giving this hotel a try.
The trip was amazing & the hotel had great service. The most exceptional part of both the trip as well as the hotel was our lovely & sweet guide Mr Etsub - Friesibhat or otherwise as he called himself Mr Happy. He was extremely well-informed , kind , caring & made it a point to show us around in the short while we had & the whole trip he had a big smile on his face was affable , friendly , helpful & cared a lot of our needs.
I highly recommend him to anyone & everyone who goes there though I feel the people generally there are extremely sweet & friendly.
