This is a historic old building located right next to Guy Concordia metro. It is only open for about two months during summer. I stayed there about five times over the years.

Great value for money, centrally located and easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, the old town and Mount Royal. But be prepared for a serious dose of college dorm nostalgia.

The property is huge and confusing at first regards to room navigation. The bathtubs are slippery...I fell down while taking a shower. But otherwise clean property.

Worst stay of my life. The room smelled like a mix of mildew and burnt popcorn. The bed was harder than concrete, and the sheets had stains. The pictures online were a complete lie. Never coming back!. Absolutely disgusting. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, the water barely ran, and there were bugs everywhere. Expedia needs to remove this listing immediately.If you value sleep, hygiene, or your money, avoid this place at all costs. The heater didn’t work, and the staff acted like they didn’t care. I want a full refund. False advertising. This is not a cozy student accommodation—it’s a nightmare. Never again.

First of all it's an historical building. I love minimalism - and I also like being frugal. So this met my criteria. And you are right downtown by St Catherine St. I wanted to rebook - but it seems they only allow visitor booking in the summer time.

it was so hot the building and worse in the rooms i could've sleep even with window open there was a fan in the room but it did nothing.
yet the staff down stairs had an AC it was comfortable for them. i wouldn't stay there in the summer not sure about the winter.

The location and quiet, beautiful grounds were amazing and felt very safe. The room itself was clean and adequate, not really anything you could call comfortable but very serviceable with a fine bed and ensuite bathroom, The front desk staff were lovely and extremely helpful, as were security staff who seemed to do frequent walkarounds of the rambling building.

This is basic accommodation in a spacious dorm room. You have a sink and fridge and a fan. No AC. There are stairs at the entrance. It was clean and quiet.

Great rooms, staff, and very clean. No on-site storage for luggage but storage available near by.

Terrific find. I loved staying on a charming campus in a room with a beautiful tall window. Very helpful checkin staff. Close to BIXI bikes.

Felt like the security could be compromised be the lack of security presence around the massive building. The lodgings are in many different wings of the building. There’s a security desk at the entrance but considering the open nature of the washroom and lounges I’d think there might be a patrol every once a while for security reasons. Never seen a security guard other than the front desk, which is isolated from the rooms themselves.

My stay was great; it was clean, quiet, and close to places like the bus, metro, and restaurants.

Booked for one night day and was quite surprised how big and spacious room was. Very clean and polite staff would recommend.

Easily accessible by public transport. Plenty of restaurants around. Receptionists very helpful and charming.

Impeccable service from staff at arrival. Easy check out. Spacious room with fridge and big windows. It was nice walking around the big old building. I would definitely go back!

We stayed here for the Canadian Grand Prix weekend and it was an excellent alternative to a hotel or other typical accommodations. Plenty of room, clean washrooms and showers, and great spot for convenience to the metro, shops and dining!
