very good hotel - recommended!
Pros:

- the location is very good - a few minutes walk from the center of the city, near the train station, but very quiet
- large comfortable rooms
- friendly and helpful staff
- excellent breakfast

Cons:

- the electrical plugs near the beds were very difficult to access, one of them could not even be reached at all
- air conditioning did not work although the temperature was above 22 degrees until late in the evenings

Verbesserungswürdig
Pros:

Nicht so wahnsinnig viel. Das Frühstück war gut, und die Empfangsmitarbeiterin beim Check-in war äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das erste Zimmer (siehe "Was hat nicht gefallen ") war sauber und recht modern, was man von Nr. Zwei und Drei nicht behaupten kann.

Cons:

Ich musste zweimal das Zimmer wechseln: Beim ersten Zimmer war der Vorhang defekt, sodass das Zimmer nicht wirklich verdunkelt werden konnte. Weil ich keine Lust hatte, die Zeit für eine Reparatur unbestimmter Zeitdauer an der Bar tot zu schlagen, und ein gleichwertiges Zimmer nicht zur Verfügung stand, musste ich für einen Zimmerwechsel ein Upgrade bezahlen. Das Deluxe-Zimmer (recht veraltet) hatte dann bei den Betten kein Licht. Alle vier Lichtquellen über oder neben den Betten waren defekt. Das anschliessende Gratisupgrade zur Suite war ebenfalls wenig erfreulich: Ungemütlich mit kaum Licht im Sitzbereich, veraltet (v.a. das Bad), und keine Möglichkeit ausser schwer erreichbar direkt über der Badewanne ein Handtuch aufzuhängen. Und der Anschluss des Fernsehers hat Wackelkontakt, sodass er immer wieder den Empfang verliert. Da hatte ich aber keine Nerven mehr für einen Zimmerwechsel. Der einzige Kommentar der Empfangsmitarbeiterin, als ich den Defekt und meine Kritik beim Check-out meldete: "O.k. Ich melde es weiter."...

Aangename bedden en kussens. Ruime kamers met afwerking in degelijke materialen, gordijnen. Airco was bijzonder goed en geruisloos. Hygiëne van kamer en badkamer. Locatie vlakbij station.

Cons:

De WIFI !!! Dit was het enige negatieve. Als reiziger is internet op de kamer erg belangrijk door de roaming tarieven in Zwitserland. De verbinding was van erg slechte kwaliteit en onbeveiligd.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, und das Personal war freundlich.

Cons:

-Das Zimmer war dreckig. Mehrere Haarbüschel lagen bei Bezug herum.

- Das Wasser in der Dusche ist nicht abgelaufen, was wir als widerlich empfunden haben.

- die Parkplätze sind viel zu eng. Die ausnahmslos alle beschädigten Parksäulen im Parkhaus quittieren das deutlich.

. Die Klappbetten in der Suite sind unzumutbar unbequem, genauso wie die Kissen.

Ben doktorum. Kongre için İsviçre'ye gittim. Yaklaşık 1.5-2 ay önceden rezervasyon yaptığım için 15 ağustos da cumartesi gününün rezervasyonumun son günü olduğunu unutmuşum. Türkiye'ye dönüş biletimi 16 ağustos pazar gününe aldığım için bir gün daha kalmayı düşünüyordum. Otele cumartesi günü yaklaşık saat 17.00'da geldiğimde, bana karşı o günü resepsiyondaki bayan hakarete varacak bir konuşma yaptı. Bu konuşma benim canımı çok sıktı. Ben hatalı olduğum doğru 15 ağustos'da çıkmam lazımdı, çıkış tarihine bakmayı unutmuşum. Bu konuşmanın ardından, otelde kalmam bir gün daha uzatıldı. Ben o bayanın benimle konuşma tarzı yüzünden şikayette bulunuyorum. Otelde çalışan bir personelin bu kadar kaba konuşması hiç doğru değil. Bir daha İsviçre'ye gidersem, kesinlikle bu personel yüzünden "Hotel Banana City'de" kalmam.

Pros:

This is a nice fairly large hotel only 20 minutes or so drive from Zurich airport. We had a family room with a double bed and two singles (one of which was more of a camp bed, but fine for a young child). Room was fairly quiet and cool with AC, but overlooked the big train station so you needed to have the window closed or the trains wake you at 5am. The breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly. The parking was convenient in an underground car park beneath the hotel, and the extra cost overnight was reasonable. Didn't stay long in Winterthur, but managed to find a nice pop-up eatery with live music right next to the train line which was a nice surprise.
