Lovely stay for two nights
Pros:

I stayed in the box room - a small room with a single bed. It was perfect for my two night stay - very comfortable and clean. The staff are lovely, special thanks to Helen and Adam who were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for me. Will definitely be staying again. Location perfect and even a coffee in bed is a 5 star experience - being bought on a tray with a flower and biscuits. Lovely.

A stunning hotel. We will return.
Pros:

The hotel was quirky and surprisingly peaceful for central London . The area was great with plenty of options for food and drink. Lovely communal lounges with lots of beautiful decor.
The staff were helpful and polite.

Cons:

Pretty much perfect, I would have liked an armchair in our room.

Sublime luxury in the quietist street ...
Pros:

We live in the Cotswolds, love London but the not the noise and the impersonal experience of the big hotels so Batty Langleys was absolutely perfect!
The quaintness and quietness of the street does not quite prepare you for the grandness and splendour of this smaller hotel. It feels oppulent yet cosy with quirkiness and quality from the bedrooms full of books and fluffy towelling robes, to the communal lounges with cosy chairs, fires and Gin to help yourself to at the honesty bar.
After alot of walking we slumped into a comfy sofa and had cups of tea which is served piping hot in a china pot and you can help yourself to a slice of the delicious freshly made cake on the table too.
We slept extremely well with no noise other than an occasional rumble from the plumbing, perhaps a little old in places like the potraits. Breakfast, which is only served in bed! Was a delight of fresh bafels, juice, steaming tea, salmon and avocados and lime.
The staff were curteous, polite and warm, you couldnt ask for more....wish we had stayed longer, next time!
