Sigo sin entender de donde sale lo de "boutique" y lo de "spa"
Well situated for a visit to chicken Itza.
Big comfy bed.
La amabilidad de el personal pero en general el anuncio es un engaño
the bathroom had no toilet seat, no hot water. The room had no furniture to sit down, they had to bring a table and two chairs over from another room. No bottled water, no nightlights. Loud music and traffic noise from the street.
The bed was good, but the rest was very disappointing .
Breakfast was offered after 9AM!! Will not stay there ever again.
This hotel is comfortable and good for the price! The staff is wonderful and very attentive to the guest. They had homemade tortillas every morning which were amazing! The pool was so nice and very few guest; except on the Sunday we stayed which had locals coming in. The food is good. It is a very convenient location as you are only a 15-20 minutes car ride away from Chichen-Itzá and other beautiful Cenotes. There’s also a convenient store and pharmacy within a one minute walk time. The downsides of the hotel is it doesn’t really have any hot water; the water temperature is the same for both hot and cold knobs. The address provided online was also a little confusing as it makes it seem like it’s inside a block when in reality the hotel is right on the Main Street you come into the town. The rooms also have very large glass windows which even with the curtains makes it so bright in the morning. If that’s an issue for you I would not suggest the rooms as most to all we saw were like this. When booking it had mentioned free wifi but upon checking in we were never provided with any wifi information. Other than that I would highly recommend this place.
The manager and staff worked hard to accommodate all visitors! Marisa became a friend and suggested numerous cities for me to visit. The restaurant food and service were wonderful!
Beautiful property. Great food and service. Pool may not be available so call prior to booking if you need a pool to check.
Fast check in. Close to chichen itza and cenote ik kil, if you are with a car. Nobody at the reception for the check out. We just left the key at the desk. (24h reception) 7days later still no rewards at hotels.com :-(
Beautifully clean and affordable hotel situated on the highway. Service was great and the rooms are HUGE for this price point. The only drawbacks were the pool was not terribly clean (we were there in what they call "winter", so that may be why) and the wifi was not available in the room and was really spotty when used in the restaurant. I work from the road and was unable to get my work done with this internet. There was a store nearby that probably offered better internet because I noticed all of the local school kids there with their laptops.
The restaurant is pricey for the area, but quite good. It used fresh ingredients and the completely hand-made tortillas were the best we've had so far. But there were plenty of food options in the village square just a 3 minute walk away.
We loved staying in this village rather than more touristy Valladolid!
Everything was good except the restaurant was very slow getting our meals ,it could be because they are not use to serving a group of 24
This hotel sits in beautifully landscaped gardens with a fish pond, bridge and two swimming pools at the back. It is quiet at night and has a joining restaurant which serves food and drinks 8am to about 9pm---good service and food in the restaurant; plus you can take your drink/coffee down to the tables by the pool. Management very friendly. Good place for Chichen Iza, also a 20-minute drive to Valladolid (and cenotes). I would stay here again.
Overall, the hotel facilities are excellent. It has a nice swimming pool. There is not much to do in the town other than have a nice dining experience at the hotel or a local restaurant where they sell grilled pork. WiFi was very limited inside the room.
The staff treated us with a cold habiscus drink upon arrival. The staff were attentive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean.
The wild dogs from town were running in a packs, the howling awoke us at night.
A general announcement from the town awoke us at 6:30 am when we needed sleep from a long trip. However this was not the fault of the hotel. I would highly recommend this place.
Overall a very nice and quite place, friendly and helpful stuff, nice pool. Nothing to do in the area except Chichen Itza. Highly recommended with a car
Beautiful property and room. Downsides were that it's half-unfinished (some buildings - the main building and restaurant are done), and annoyingly there was no separator/shower curtain between the shower and the toilet, so the whole en suite got wet when showering.
Also it really helps to have Spanish here. It's located in a small village about 20km east of Chichen Itza, well west of Valladolid - it's great, you get a cool sense of local life just by hanging around outside... But they don't speak any English. Also the WiFi is poor, but hopefully that isn't why you're going here. ;)
Hotel is like new. Great room with a walk in! Have to know that hot water come after 10 min. As said by the staff. Also, as we are in a little town, we can hear hen and dogs barking early in the morning. There are business around that annonce themself with lloud music in the evening and sunday morning.
