De locatie was gesloten toen wij aankwamen. Failliet verklaard.
The location is excellent in the centre of this pretty little town. Rooms and ensuite very nice, modern and very comfortable bed. There is AC in the rooms but the windows open nicely for fresh air too. We only stayed 1 night passing through but would stay again.
The staff we met were friendly and lovely and the breakfast was very good. Free Parking is on the street, parking spaces facing the little park /pond area opposite. There are plenty of spaces all around so you may not get right outside but a very short walk to the entrance.
I had emailed the hotel twice to let them know our arrival time, but had no reply, so I rang a few days before. The lady said that the restaurant is closed, only when I asked this, it wasn't noted on booking. com that the restaurant is currently closed due to refurbishment for at least a month. There are a couple of places in the town to eat and a decent pizzeria.
It is possible to walk 20 mins to the marina, Dintel, area where there is a fish restaurant/ brasserie on the water, unfortunately they stop cooking at 8pm, but their website says closes at 10pm! Hence we can recommend the pizzeria 🙂
I didn't receive any information before arrival of how to get the key or get in, so I had to ring again from outside the hotel. The gentleman guided me to the key box and the code and where to go, so didn't see any staff at arrival.
This was ok but wasn't a great impression, even though everything was absolutely fine. NB:
I think that these points were due to the restaurant, which looked very nice, being closed at the moment and also the nice lady at breakfast mentioned that there are New Owners, so this was probably just oversight. The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. It didn't put us off at all.

Ik kreeg dinsdag tevoren tel. te horen dat restaurant op zondag gesloten was.
Op de dag zelf via app vernam ik dat ik sleutel in kluisje kon vinden. Het hotel zou dinsdag permanent sluiten.
Zo schandelijk dat dit niet direct gecommuniceerd werd!! En dan ook de hoogste prijs nog vragen.
Poetshulp trof ik vlgd ochtend, zij was zeer behulpzaam.

De kamer, badkamer niet schoon, fles water was niet koud maar warm water geworden. Geen koffie/thee faciliteiten.

Accommodation, was in need of a refurbishment, rooms a little shabby, no kettle in room or fridge, staircase to room not the easiest to navigate
The outside patio was a good bonus. Room was very clean. Lovely toiletries.
The breakfast, which was lying out, was covered with flies! There were also fruit flies swarming around the fruit. No staff around to assist. No kettle in the room, which is unusual. I was woken up by a nearby washing machine vibrating my room.
