Friendly staff in an amazing scenic location
Pros:

Location is fantastic. Staff were very friendly. Whisky bar was excellent.

Cons:

Nothing really. Entrance and reception area could do with a smarten up.

Incroyablement ressourçant.
Pros:

Mythique pour les amateurs de l’alpinisme Écossais. Le lieu a une vraie histoire. Le pub à côté est excellent.

Cons:

Pas grand chose

Incantevole hotel in un’isola spettacolare
Pros:

Stanza molto grande e accogliente, bagno pulito e molto grande. Ottima accoglienza, posizione fantastica. Ottima colazione (spettacolari pancake), e bello il bar dell’hotel per la cena.

Cons:

Nulla, tutto perfetto

Pros:

We had a room facing the road that leads to Talisker. We had dinner at Seamus' and a few drinks before returning to the room to watch Netflix. Bed was very comfy, shower was great too

Lovely situation, but didn’t feel very Scottish!
Pros:

Stunning location.
Beautifully refurbished.
Gorgeous room and en-suite
Friendly and helpful staff
Tasty cooked breakfast.

Cons:

We had to walk outside and down to the barn-like bar for supper. Not enjoyable in the rain when the dining room was obviously empty.
Huge screen played non-stop films of American nature parks which, given the hotel is situated in the very Highlands of Scotland, felt incongruous inappropriate and tasteless.
Supper was bland. Menu not reflective of the hotel’s location.

Onwijs klantvriendelijk, heerlijk bed en top douche
Pros:

Geweldige ligging, mega behulpzaam en klantvriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk bed en heerlijke douche!

Cons:

Haha, misschien dat het ontbijt zo vroeg stopt. Wij gingen eerst nog even naar The Quiraing en kwamen om 9.30 uur stipt weer terug. Het personeel was mega vriendelijk en we mochten alsnog even ontbijten. Heel lief!

Centrally located hotel in Skye with adjacent pub/ restaurant.
Pros:

Located on a main road close to a picturesque old bridge and interesting surrounding landscape. Reasonable sized rooms.
Adjacent pub / restaurant serves decent food.

Cons:

No lift. Poorly lit rooms. Very hot water in the shower which could not be adjusted.

Really nice location
Pros:

The room was really nice, they had things other hotels lack e.g. makeup towel. The location was good too

Cons:

The water pressure was a bit minimal but maybe that is normal for the area (or I am just lucky and used to really good pressure at home). It wouldn't put me off staying again

Pros:

Lovely clean, comfortable room which looked recently decorated to a high standard. Nice powerful shower and the toiletries were gorgeous too. Plenty of tea/coffee, milk & biscuits provided. Breakfast was lovely. Check-in was quick and easy, and all the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only thing we'd change is an indoor route to get to the bar/restaurant next door, as we were soaked through from the walk (run!) in the rain even though it's only a few metres outdoors.
