Fabulous location with a great view of the Cuillin mountains. I loved all the historical photos and the museum room. The staff , Rye in particular, was very helpful and friendly. The little bar was a perfect spot for sampling some local whisky in the evening.
Our room, 52, had a huge super comfy bed and I loved the emerald green decor.
The main reception area is looking very shabby and the outside windows badly need painting.
The staff were super friendly and helpful! Great location--near the hikes we wanted to do. The room was nice and spacious, fun to be in a historic hotel, the hotel bar was nice and quiet (compared to the restaurant next door, which was quite busy). It is also the transportation hub of the area, so it makes it easy if you are taking buses instead of driving (which we were). Breakfast was nice.
It was very expensive (though everything on Skye seems to be), and the bar/restaurant next door seems to be more into being a bar and less into being a restaurant--mostly overpriced bar food, though it's the only place around, so we were glad it was there.
Nettes Hotel mit einem gewissen schottischen Charme. Gutes -wenn auch etwas lautes - Restaurant. Grosses Zimmer mit grossem Doppelbett. Frühstück ok.
Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht ganz
Desayuno excepcional. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Muy bien ubicado para realizar excursiones por Skye.
Necesita alguna reforma y el precio me pareció excesivo
Food andblocation are great!
Size and furniture of a single room are pretty basic.
Not really worth the money.
The room was of a great size and warm. The view was marvelous, and breakfast was delicious.

Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant next door. Hiking paths across the street. Clean room.
No space for luggage in the room. table was sticky, although I saw in previous reviews it is because of the cleaning agent. No hot water one morning, which could have been super frustrating if we were really needing a shower. toilet ring was broken- all repaired by the afternoon. Can put up signs for patrons to be quiet when in the hallway. If a patron wants to go to a neighboring town for a meal, and they do not want to drive, they should book a car for hire a week before. No lat minute availability....
Die Lage
Die komplizierte Duscheinstellung
The room itself was acceptable but nothing special. The coffee maker was cheap and malfuntioned. The washroom doesn't offer much in the way of counter space. The restaurant was good but closes too early. The grounds don't offer much but there is plenty of exploring to do easily accessible by foot nearby! Check out time is was 10am, earlier and less convenient than usual.

Excellent clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and good location. Wouldn't hesitate about going again.
Location was great. Practically the doorway to Skye. Not close to town but good if you do not need food options.
Old and very very tired. Strange attempts to paint and refurbish but not in a good way. Just looking at the exterior, it was repainted white but they got more paint on the windows and beautiful stone frames than the walls. Not done well and the inside is pretty old and tired. Thats fine if you dont pay as much as we did for a room. It does not make sense.
Lovely location, nice room.
I've had better rooms for a lot less money, and I think asking for £18 each for breakfast is unfair when youve paid £450 for a room for one night
Présence d’un pub à côté de l’hôtel très sympa
Le prix (piège à touriste ?)
Older hotel, with newer amenities. Clean and comfortable. Staff was delightful! Food was great and location was really special!
The location is excellent, with beautiful views and hiking right outside the door. Plenty of parking, though the lot was busy with tourists and busses. The staff was incredibly friendly. We loved the breakfast and the restaurant is great for people watching, whiskey, and hearty meals. The suite was excellent for 3 people to share, though you have to carry your luggage up a few short, awkward stairwells. The windows were open and heat was full blast when we arrived - make sure you use the windows to moderate the temperature (do not close them). You cannot turn down the heat. We were glad they let us store an expensive racing bike in our room.
The parking lot was busy with tourists and busses so a bit hectic. You can only control the temperature of the room by opening the windows.
