Le Logis Bed and Breakfast

Accueil très bon, mais personne envahissante trop bavarde surtout quand on est en voyage affaire "peu de temps", très bon confort, bonne literie. Mais manque considérablement de chauffage en hiver car inexistant sur les radiateurs de la chambre "seulement deux petits radiateurs d'appoints. Petit déjeuner correct. Pas de possibilité de paiement en CB.

The moment we got in to the house we felt at home. Alexandra is the best and will make sure you are not another guest but part of her family. She will give you all the tips to visit around and secret spots that will blow your mind (what an adventure finding them!).
The breakfast is very good and the fresh croissants are to die for :) The house is INCREDIBLE and you feel like you are in a museum with unpredictable pieces. Be aware if you arrive on Monday all restaurants around are closed, so make sure you have food with you. If you want to have a completely different experience hosted my someone super friendly and knowledgable make sure you book this place.

Very friendly owner. Lovely continental breakfast. Room cosy and comfortable. Wonderfully hot water for bath / shower.

A lovely place to stay on the way down to the Dordogne

L'accueil est très sympathique mais le reste moyen voir désastreux.
En effet, l'hôtel sentait la peinture (des chambres en bazar portes ouvertes), je me suis demandé si l'hôtel était vraiment ouvert.
La chambre n'était pas clean, de la poussière par terre et des tapis très poussiéreux.
Le clou du spectacle fut le matin quand il n'y avait personne pour le PDJ... je suis parti le ventre vide malgré le paiement complet.

The welcome and attention to detail was first class, very knowledgable and helpful owner

Unfortunately the owner wasn't there due to a family illness but still managed to make arrangements for our arrival rather than just cancel our booking which was very welcome after a long day in the car. We were also upgraded to a 2 bedroomed suite which was amazing and in the morning we were treated to a wonderful breakfast, we would happily recommend staying at Le Logis.

A charming typical old French building with spacious rooms. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the owner's local knowledge of the region. We definitely like to go back there.

We arrived really late, around midnight. Alexandra stayed up to welcome us. She made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. She made us a wonderful breakfast, helped us plan our driving route, printed maps for us and let us know about local places and events we might be interested in. Her property is just as charming as she is! Highly recommended.

chambre d hotes tres confortable ds une maison magnifiquement amenagee et decoree d objets anciens. salle de douche un peu petite. proprietaire adorable mais il est conseillé de parler anglais car elle parle peu français. prevoir aussi de s approvisionner avant d arriver car la ville est assez desertique...

Très agréable et l'accueil est parfait. Vive le frenglish d'Alexendra qui est à notre écoute qui nous donne les adresses des bonnes tables.

Todo bien, la dueña una mujer muy agradable, atenta y servicial.

On arriving at the destination it had a lovely feel to it, Alexandra was very welcoming and as we had arrived very late after a three hour drive, she phoned a local bar who was serving food late and asked that they keep open until we had arrived. Room was very well furnished and comfy and a nice breakfast in the morning.

Hôtel très surprenant pour les lieux. La décoration et la rénovation de cet ancien' bâtiment ont été fait avec goûts. La gérante ( d'origine néozélandaise ) très accueillante et chaleureuse.

The whole experience was a nightmare. No TV in room, no hair dryer, no commun room, bin full of rubbish from previous occupants. left over toiletries, no wardrobe no hangers, very unclean, the room had no key so we could not lock the door and had to carry our valuable items (documents etc..) with us. Over all we had the most dreadful experience: no diner, no safe parking (on the road) and no one to get advise from. The owner was absent at all time, told us she was going to a car boot sale then in the evening to a fete and fireworks. She gave us the front door key and left us in the house alone. At breakfast we had to wait for the bread to be bought while she was bringing food items one at the time despite the fact that we mention we had to leave promptly. I was close to tears...

Retour dans le village de ma grand-mère avec mon compagnon et notre bébé d'un an. Je l'ai redécouvert avec un autre regard grâce à notre hôtel Néo-zélandaise si disponible et son magnifique B&B,vieil hôtel auquel elle a simplement redonné vie avec goût .

Really warm welcome, great apartment at a great price, host couldn't do enough for us and was very helpful. Parking facilities were good. All facilities (such as hairdryer, many toiletries etc) were provided We would happily stay again, and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent accueil, l'hôtel est très bien situé et l'intérieur est très propre et très soigné, avec un charme fou.
Un séjour d'excellent qualité et sans doute que je vais y revenir.
