High service hotel for a stay between flights
Pros:

This is a very good standard large chain hotel. The room was very large with a really nice bathroom and the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was a huge buffet and was excellent. Lots of choices. There is a spa but we did not use it. There is a convenient shuttle to and from the airport terminal. This is a great choice if you need an overnight at the airport between flights.

Cons:

For me, this type of hotel is a bit impersonal and I prefer smaller, independent boutique hotels in general but that is personal taste not anything wrong with the hotel. If you are exploring Quito I’d suggest staying in the center somewhere as it is quite a long drive from the airport into the city. However, if you need somewhere to stay overnight between flights this hotel is perfect. It was about twice the price of any other hotel we stayed at in our 3-week trip around Ecuador and Peru but it was also by far the largest with the most amenities so not surprising.

Pros:

This is a lovely hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and comfortable, great breakfast, close to the airport. Perfect for what we wanted. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious.

Inconsiderate Hotel Staff

Not accommodating to someone who only stayed at the room to sleep for 3 hours. They prepared breakfast bags for airport workers but didn’t offer the same to me. My reservation included buffet breakfast that I never enjoyed because of an early morning flight. When I called the attention to it, the front desk clerk dared to say that it would have been $12.50 for the breakfast bag. Lol, sleep for 3 hours, paid over $120, didn’t enjoy buffet breakfast, and still dared to say an additional $12.50. I was already at the airport when I heard the clerk saying those outrageous words on the phone. I bet those flight attendants didn’t pay for those breakfast bags at all.

Always reliable for a Comfortable Stay.
Pros:

I've stayed at the Wyndham many times. The staff are great, friendly and accommodating. The shuttle is reliable. The room is big and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great.

Cons:

Two small gripes - I wish I didn't have to get down on my knees to access the electrical outlet under the desk for my laptop. It's awkward and as I am older now, hard on the knees.

And I wish there was a handheld shower unit in the shower.

Pros:

Lovely hotel, good restaurant and very nice staff. Beds are comfortable, rooms have nice TV, coffee in the room. They also have a bus to take you to the airport and vice-versa which comes in handy when traveling and having early flights.

Excellent hotel, new and modern, clean.
Restaurant was great, a lot of choice & a reasonable buffet. Great breakfast
We also used the gym and pool which were clean, pool is too small to swim but nice to relax.
If you're planning on using the gym don't forget the altitude!
Shuttle bus to the airport was great both ways.

Wyndham hotel Quito Ecuador
Pros:

Great stay! The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and welcoming. A special thank you to the Carlos who helped us with our luggage, he was amazing and provided excellent service. The airport transportation was also very convenient and greatly appreciated. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again!
