Das Grundstück ist fantastisch und der Blick auf den See wunderschön. Antonella lässt keine Wünsche offen, sogar frisches Brot, Croissants und Kaffee stehen jeden Morgen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei, der sich frei auf dem weitläufigen Gelände bewegen konnte. Der Aufenthalt war super entspannt und angenehm. Der Supermarkt befindet sich ganz in der Nähe und ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch nach Passignano kann man entspannt am See entlang in ca. 30 Min. laufen.

Het is een zeer comfortabel appartement, prachtige lokatie, gastvrijheid van de host. Elke ochtend vers brood en croissants, diverse zitjes in de enorme tuin met olijfbomen. Er is ook een jacuzzi met buitendouche.

Een fijn appartement met een erg mooi uitzicht op het meer.

Antica Casale Tiravento is a nineteenth century (1866) farmhouse that has been fully modernized and converted into four apartments. It is located on a hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno at the end of a 400 metre un-metalled road; our hired Fiat 500 coped fine and there is ample parking at the villa. We were met by the owner, Annabella, who made us very welcome and settled us in to the apartment. She even insisted on carrying our bags. Our apartment was on the first floor with a large, private terrace with spectacular views of the Umbrian countryside and Lake Trasimeno. We had plenty of room for two although the apartment could cope with four if the bed-settee in the living room was used. An unexpected treat was daily delivery of a small loaf of bread and two filled croissants for breakfast. The villa is about a twenty minute walk into the centre of Passignano using the cycle track that goes around the lake. There is a Conad supermarket about seven minutes walk away. We spent nine days there and enjoyed the use of the olive grove with the covered seating areas and lovely lake views. Peaceful, comfortable and quiet with wonderful sunsets and a good wifi signal. Annabella and her son, Andrea, could not have been more helpful and I did not need to use my broken italian. We would recommend trips to Cortona and Panicale (location of the tv series Signora Volpe).

Fabulous views and a quiet location. This property seems to have four units with the owner living on site. Our accommodation was upstairs and was spacious and well equipped. There is a shared washing area to use.
The outside space is huge so you can either sit on your own veranda or in the many areas within the gardens. There is a shared hot (cool) tub with an amazing view that we used regularly and never had to wait for.
Every morning there was a delivery of fresh bread and pastries (the pistachio croissant was my favourite) which was great and half way through our stay they changed the sheets and towels (letting us know in advance when they were coming).
We were nervous about the road up but actually it’s just a steep stone road with ruts rather than pot holes and our low car had no issues.
There are so many hillside medieval towns to see nearby, lovely places on the lake and we took a ferry to Isola Maggiore.

Wat hebben wij het fijn gehad. Leuk contact met Antonella, erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Elke dag (behalve zondag) verse broodjes en ook kregen we tomaatjes uit eigen tuin, verrukkelijk. Het appartement was super, de handdoeken werden goed ververst en als afscheid nog een flesje wijn en chocolaatjes. De tuin was prachtig, overal leuke zitjes en overal uitzicht op het meer, wat een plaatje. Wij komen graag terug!

We werden zeer gastvrij en enthousiast ontvangen door Antonella en haar lieve vrolijke hond LouLou, haar eerste vraag was of ze LouLou binnen moest doen, wij hadden echter geen moeite met de hond.
We werden rondgeleid over het terrein. Ieder ochtend, behalve op zondag, stonden er verse broodjes voor ons klaar in de koffie corner, verse koffie was altijd beschikbaar.
Daarna liet zij ons het appartement zien. Wij hadden een appartement op de begane grond op de oost kant.
Grote koelkast met vriesvak, 2 pits gas, voldoende kook benodigdheden, vaatwasser, ruime badkamer, douchen in bad, goede airco. Alles netjes en schoon.
Het hoogtepunt was de enorme tuin met olijfbomen, meerdere zitjes en een prachtig uitzicht over Lago Trasimeno en Passignano sul Trasimeno.
Antonella en haar zoon zijn geweldig! Dagelijks een klein praatje (beide spreken goed Engels), maar nooit opdringerig of te aanwezig. We hebben groente en kruiden uit hun eigen tuin gekregen en bij vertrek een heerlijke fles lokale wijn en chocolade.
Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de hottub/bubbelbad bij 40 graden, maar ook die zal ongetwijfeld goed zijn.
De accomodatie ligt iets afgelegen, te bereiken via een goed begaanbare semi-verharde stijgende weg met haarspeldbochten een auto is dan ook aan te raden.
Passignano is een leuk klein dorp met voldoende terrassen, restaurants en een oud kasteel. Er zijn 3 supermarkten in het dorp.
Binnen 10 minuten zit je op de snelweg.
Wij hebben enorm genoten, ondanks de extreme hitte, van deze fijne, rustige accomodatie en bevelen deze van harte aan.

Great place to stay, fantastic views and a lovely host. The location is just right to visit the lake and surrounding areas but also to travel further afield.
Lovely croissants and bread each morning left for us to start the day.

Ideal location on the edge of town with the supermarket a short walk away. The apartments were very clean with a bathroom and kitchen in each, plenty of space for our group of 11. Antonella was fantastic making multiple trips to the station to collect our group and arranging transport to and from the wedding we were attending. Everyone said how they would love to have stayed for longer!

Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, the view fenominal and Antonella's hospitality outstanding !!!

We stayed for a week at Antico Casale Tiravento, which is located near Lake Trasimeno. The street uphill need a bit of care on the first try, but there is a sign so you do not miss it. When you arrive at the spot you have a magnificent view over the lake, its islands and Passignano and also the other towns around the lake, and of course the beautiful countryside. The city center can be reached by a footpath directly on the lake, which is very nice in the evening.
There is plenty of parking, which also has a sunroof. The apartment with the kitchen was very well equipped and very clean and most importantly: air conditioned. There is also a laundry room that guests can use for washing. The jacuzzi can be used by all apartments and can be reserved through the landlord.

We have enjoyed our vacation very much.

The location was superb...lovely views and a short drive from Passignano.
We stayed in an apartment with a big terrace, which was fantastic. The apartment was well equipped, light and airy. It was spotlessly clean.
Antonella and her partner are charming and helpful and communication was efficient. The apartment was good value.

Host is super nice and helpful, lives on the property so available for every issue or question. breakfast very good! the view is spectacular. the apartment was cleaned every day.
