Pros:

Wonderful hotel, right across from the beautiful Ettal Kloster. The facilities are very well kept and exquisitely clean. Lovely breakfast buffet and a tasty restaurant as a dinner option. Our room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the gardens. The pool is large and suited for adults and kids alike. There is an option to use a washer and dryer for a fair price.

The beds are a bit on the stiff side

Toller Aufenthalt in Ettal
Pros:

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, gutes Restaurant, tolles Frühstück, kostenlose Parkplätze hinter dem Haus, schöne Zimmer, Sauna und Schwimmbad, Kegelbahn, die Nähe zum Benediktinerkloster... allgemein ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Sommer und Winteraktivitäten ☺️

Cons:

Hatten Comfort Zimmer zur Straße, bei offenem Fenster sehr laut. Hotelbar sehr klein und nur bis 22 Uhr...Kaffeemaschine im Frühstücksraum mit frisch gemahlenem Kaffee führt oftmals zu langen Warteschlangen. Tontöpfe mit Rühreier, Würstchen etc mit nicht einsehbaren Deckeln, die jeder immer wieder hochheben und weglegen muss, bevor man sich bedienen kann...aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau 😉

Super Zimmer, mega Frühstück
Pros:

Sehr großzügiges Zimmer. Die Option statt des Zimmerservice ein kostenloses Getränk an dar Hotelbar zu bekommen fanden wir sehr zuvorkommend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mega! Und der Pool war auch sehr gut. Parkplätze vor und hinter dem Hotel reichlich vorhanden und kostenfrei.

Cons:

Schade das es keinen Kühlschrank am Zimmer gibt. Die Umkleidekabine am Pool ist extrem kalt, weil wohl die Lüftung der Dusche dort ist.

Allgemein sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel und mit der schönen Umgebung. Gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.
Pros:

Das Frühstücksraum war sehr schön und groß. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr vielseitig und schmackhaft.

Cons:

Das Essen im Restaurant des Hotels am Abend hat nicht geschmeckt. Die bestellte Schweinshaxe war geschmacklos und sehr trocken.
Die Dusche im Badezimmer konnte man schlecht einstellen, Wasserdruck war zu schwach.

Gutes Hotel mitten im Pfaffenwinkel. Für Selbstfahrer gut geeignet.
Pros:

Die Frage, wie ruhig das Zimmer ist, hängt damit zusammen, dass das Hotel an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstraße liegt. Zimmer nach hinten - ruhig. Zimmer nach vorne - vermutlich laut (mein Zimmer lag nach hinten). Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber dem Kloster. Für Selbstfahrer sind die Ziele im Pfaffenwinkel gut erreichbar.

Cons:

Der Fernseher ist zu klein.
