Friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean rooms. A large choice of drinks at the bar. Very dog friendly. Close to the city for those who wish to look around Dundee, but far enough away not to be bothered by it.
Sitting just of the Kingsway (A90) gives any visitor access to the Highlands if wished or even East towards Aberdeen.
There was nothing to dislike about the hotel.
Well treated and great value for money
Basic but comfortable, great service and good food
The staff were lovely
The room. It was way over priced, dirty and dilapidated .the room above mindlessly banging first thing at 6.30 am
The hotel room was way over price for what it was. The cleanliness was non existent, mould etc, stains on the carpet and the taps didn’t work, the window catch was broken, I have several pictures to back up my complaint
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good
Location was good for us. Great place to stay
Nothing
Location
The hotel and the room is very tired, in need of a real upgrade
Where to start ..toilet roll is thicker than the unhovered carpet ...walked past the cupboard and the insides collapsed..fan in manky bathroom hanging of the ceiling...wouldn't put my dog in it
Staff trying hard to make our visit pleasant..
sub standard accommodation
Access to property is perfect for me elderly Father and also I had dogs with me so nice & easytogo out walking.
Bar was friendly and had a nice meal at night.
Left too early for breakfast
Quiet, free parking nice little pub accomodation.
Room very dated
Excellent location, quiet, porridge cooked to perfection, not expensive, window opened to air room. There was a (dated looking) bath & decent amounts of hot water.
The whole property very much needs re-decorated and is very tired and dowdy. Toilet didn’t flush properly. The cistern could only flush once every few hours. Bathroom tap was very difficult to turn on and off. Shower pressure was very low and it was difficult to wash, but there was an ancient bath. Bedroom smelt of damp dogs, although it wasn’t actually dirty.
Proper coffee wasn’t available, only instant (although a big pot of tea was available.
