Pros:

Friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean rooms. A large choice of drinks at the bar. Very dog friendly. Close to the city for those who wish to look around Dundee, but far enough away not to be bothered by it.
Sitting just of the Kingsway (A90) gives any visitor access to the Highlands if wished or even East towards Aberdeen.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel.
