Incredibly beautiful part of the world. The reception team were so welcoming. The room was utterly boutique. Breakfast was very well cooked and surpassed many 4 star standards.
The staff were absolutely fantastic. They are professional, courteous and engaging.
We enjoyed Sunday dinner which was excellent as was the breakfast the following day.

The only positive about location was location and the fact there is a possibility to book with your dog.
Our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The bedsheets were dirty when we entered the room, creating a very poor first impression. The staff were not welcoming and came across as dismissive rather than helpful.
The magnetic room key was demagnetised two or three times in the same day, forcing repeated trips to reception—an unacceptable inconvenience. The room itself was located on the second floor and had no drawers or adequate storage space for clothing, which is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this standard.
Breakfast quality was good, but the service was extremely poor. We waited more than 30 minutes for a simple order of scrambled eggs with salmon, despite the restaurant not being exceptionally busy.
Considering all of these shortcomings, paying £135 for one night including breakfast is completely unjustified and represents very poor value for money. There are many better alternatives available at this price point.
I would strongly advise potential guests not to book this hotel at this rate. The quality of service and accommodation falls well below what should reasonably be expected, and I would not return or recommend it to others.
Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice touch having excellent toiletries. Had dinner which was really good and a very nice breakfast in the morning. Great stay.

The room was very small for the orice we paid. If that was a signature room I would hate to think what the county room was like. The bathroom was in need of a refresh there was black mould around the edge of the shower tray and the grout in the tiles looked dirty the paint was flaking off the walls.
The staff are delightful & welcomed us & especially our dog so warmly. The dog is now missing her morning & evening sausage!!

Stayed with my daughter for rhe night beautiful building in a beautiful quaint village. Clean comfortable surroundings. Comfiest bed. Excellent breakfast. Happy, helpful staff. Loved our stay and would return.
