Great location, very helpful staff (that’s you Sam!), upgraded soaps, lotions, chocolates and cocoa in the room, great made to order breakfast!
We booked a cozy room which was a little tight for my 6’4” husband and I. All other rooms are bigger and I would book one of those!
Located in the centre of the town, perfect for walking around and exploring. There’s a choice of local car parks or if you’re lucky there’s also some free street parking
Not that I didn’t like it but if I was to stay again I would probably request a room that wasn’t near the entrance door as it was a little noisy with people coming in and out.
Staff were amazing
Only 1 thing that spoiled our trip - not sure if there is a laundry room next to room 19 but for hours on Saturday night it was like a helicopter landing - at one point i was ready to go home but about 11pm it stopped - if it was a washer spinning then maybe consider only setting them off in the daytime as it's very inconsiderate considering the price of the rooms - if it wasn't then lord only knows what it was but it was bad . If not for this then couldn't have faulted our stay
Central location dog friendly and food is good
Accommodation was very comfortable,a lot of thought put into extras in bedroom eg bottled water sweet treats,tolietries and fridge. Food was excellent well presented Staff were really friendly.
Regulating heating in bedroom complicated.Booked a table for evening meal was disappointed with table given, small table enough room for drinks but no more.Customers walking in not staying at hotel were given priority seating.No reservation had been taken note of even though it was made the day before.
