Hotel was right in the centre so convenient for shops, bar, the lake and the public car park was only a few minutes walk away.
Staff were very friendly and although we hadn’t booked a table for dinner they found us a table. Service for dinner was good, we only had main courses and food was nice.
We booked a cosy room which we expected to be small but we were upgraded to a slightly bigger cosy room, still on the small side but it was perfect for us as we were only staying one night. Room was quiet and bed very comfy.
The poached eggs in the morning were more like hard boiled eggs but other than that breakfast was good.

My room faced the stone alley and got quite loud in the morning (4-6am). Breakfast was also a bit average, not terrible but not great either, although overall I enjoyed my stay and I recommend the place.

The room was lovely, very clean, and air conditioned, the bathroom was great. The room was serviced every day and tea and coffee supplies restocked and complimentary. The staff are lovely and attentive, the breakfast has a great choice, with everything you could need. The location is excellent, right in the centre of beautiful Keswick.
The bed is a little firm for me but I agree that is personal taste. There is no lift in the property, and its quite a few steps to carry your luggage to your room, no help was offered. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Charming pub, comfortable clean well appointed room, delicious breakfast, and extremely friendly staff.

Staff Sevice, food quality and location
Room 5 size was very small, zero privacy when curtains are open, the layout of cloths storage and coffee making facilties was badly configerated and only three items of clothing could be hung up.
There was toilet brush in bathroom
