Evansville Inn & Suites By OYO

This property does not exist and the new owners will not honor reservations. They were rude and did nothing to help us. We traveled 6 hours with our grandchildren and had no place to stay. This should be removed from any booking sites!

They were overbooked. We ended up driving home after wedding. OYO and this place is going to be on Facebook in the most negative way. Along with the town I will tell the general public NOT to waste their time and money going there! We are in our mid 70s and we're treated like GARBAGE!

When we arrived, we did not have a room. I had reserved 2 and had confirmation numbers. They sent us away claiming they don't take reservations for this site anymore.

Crap show!! Had all my reservation paper work and would not honor my reservation! Said I didn’t have a room. Very rude!! Had to find a new hotel. Got charged by OYO for my 2 rooms. None of my questions were answered!! I will be writing a very bad review on line!!

Inn was fine but it is called Boarders now. Found out Oyo is not accepted there any longer so I made a new reservation directly with them. Any charge against my credit card should be refunded please (by Oyo).

They are now a borders , yet not listed on borders website AND they have no local phone number !!! We are still trying to get refund from our reservation and I called help desk at OYO and they said they don’t have our reservation number .
We were able to book a room , the last room available when we got there . But still trying to get refund from online reservation and they don’t accept any online reservations .
Don’t Book ! !!!!

Upon arrival was informed hotel did not use Booking.com and the hotel was fully booked. Only good news was room was reserved as pay upon arrival so no charges. Had to scramble to find hotel 30 miles away. No phone number to+@“” Booking.com for help.

Property was fine

They sold the rooms that were booked and couldn’t accommodate. I had to sleep in the truck. Front desk wasn’t even trying to help and am having to dispute the bill through the credit card because they said we never showed up.

We had 3 double queen rooms booked for work travel. They didn’t have them so I gave up the single king to my guys and slept in the truck. The crème de la crème was there was also an issue the night before where I was double charged because they ran my credit card at the site, but told the online booking service I didn’t show up. Not helpful at all, either at the site or the sites customer service. Stay away.

Very convenient location especially for anyone looking to hike the Ice Age Trail.

Not all the lights worked in the room. For being a place kind of out of town it was kind of noisy at night. The was no breakfast offered light the ad said.

The clerk at the front desk couldn't understand English well enough to confirm my reservation and had to call for help.
The coffee maker in our room didn't have a basket to hold the coffee pod, Also, it had left- over coffee grounds in the water reservoir, which I rinsed out.
There was no coffee made for us in the lobby either morning and no water in the Keurig. I had to take the water bin to my room to get water for the Keurig in the Lobby.
There were multiple dried (urine?) stains running down the back side of the bathroom door, which we didn't notice until our last morning.
The bedding was clean, very peaceful, as we were the only 2 customers in the entire building for 2 days.

The breakfast was nothing I could eat. No fruit. Some frozen bad breakfast sammies and Jimmy Dean bowls…… over processed garbage.

my son's wedding was at the red barn so it was so convenient to walk back and forth

Location

If you are looking for safe, clean, place to spend the night while traveling at a reasonable price this is the place. Definitely no frills and very basic amenities, but room had clean bedding, hot shower, and staff were friendly.
