Lovely clean room and a decent size bedroom and king size bed was very comfortable. Liked all the complimentary biscuits and water and also in the onsuite was shower gel, shampoo and lotion.. all smelt divine ✨️.
Such a shame this hotel looks unkempt from the outside and doesn't look as tidy as the photos! Don't like that there's no one on reception after 8pm and you advertise a bar but there basically isn't one! As the staff ie one guy left at 8pm and we felt uneasy being the only ones there during the evening!back of the hotel looks untidy and just tired. Not like in the photos or description. Also the walk into stratford is a good 45mins at a reasonable pace and 1.5miles .. definitely not a 5min walk like other reviews I've seen.
Very good place, close to shops and local takeaways. The host was 11/10.
Great location and Staff were very friendly and welcoming very clean hotel I will definitely be going again
Quiet,warm, comfortable bed.
Clean and friendly staff.
Long walk into Stratford.
Room was too warm and the bed was hard.
A one night stay as windows and doors being fitted so no bed at home! The Limes is literally 2 mins walk from my house. Totally impressed with Lannic the guy on reception. Welcoming and helpful
Lovely big room. Has small fridge.
Although no breakfast, in the room were pot porridge just add water from supplied kettle. Tea and coffee supplied. An apple and a choc au pastry. So an adequate start to the day.
Nothing to mention
the hotel was clean and a good size room. there was a decent space for parking. the receptionist was friendly and helpful.
there was not any hot water in the shower in the morning. the bed was ok but not best comfortable. the decor felt a little dated. ok but not great for the cost of the stay
Location was good
The standard of the room was just ok. I felt like it was a little overpriced. In the morning the shower was not warm but there was no one at the desk to tell.
Absolutely freezing stay — no heating, no hot water
I arrived very late after a long drive to find the heating wasn’t working and the room was freezing cold. There was also no hot water, so I couldn’t even take a shower.
To make things worse, the receptionist finishes at 8pm, so there was no staff on site for any help. When I called the hotel’s hotline, I was told there was nothing they could do about the cold room or the lack of hot water.
At 11pm, I had no choice but to contact Booking.com for a refund. What a disaster. Such poor management from a hotel is genuinely disappointing.
Cheap and situated in a close place where I was heading in the morning
Everything was exceptional
They supply a free breakfast basket which was good and there was a small fridge which was great for keeping milk water etc cool. Some of the bIg players could learn a few things they want to charge for everything staff were extremely friendly in all for the money couldn't fault it will go back
Can't really think of anything what can I say
Lovely hotel the room was a lot better than expected, it was clean and well presented, the lad at reception was very helpful and friendly I would recommend this place in a heartbeat, we will be back and very good value for money
In all honesty it was fantastic
Great hotel staff great would be somewhere great as a base . The local pub and restaurant was good but Indian restaurant Aladins was expensive. But coming from Birmingham curry restaurant are in abundance but a lot cheaper. But overall a great stay would definitely stay there again .So much value for money
