On a positive note: the hotel was decorated very nicely, as were the rooms, very chic. We had a drink at Jacks which was great and ordered wine and food from room service and it was very good. The staff was pleasant.
The cons: There should be a book with room information “How to” information on how to turn the lights on in the room but we had found out being at a previous hotel that you had to stick your room key in a slot box on the wall. There should be a book on hotel and local information. It would have been nice to have brochures on the local area. The mini fridge was broken and a maintenance person did come look at it, but nothing g was fixed, it remained warm. There should be a mini light where the coffee machine was, it was hard to see anything. We were given one tiny bar of soap.
Bed. Location. Restaurant.
I wish lunch was served till later.
Had a lovely stay at the Dakota, lovely welcome, breakfast was good and staff were all friendly and mannerable
The hotel staff weren’t great . The room was lovely.rubbish left under the curtain. Breakfast was average was expecting much better .
Great central location, room and bathroom both clean and very comfortable. Signature suite booked and amenities included such as complimentary mini bar made for great value for money. Great dining options and reasonably priced. Staff professional and courteous, nothing was too much trouble when asked for assistance regarding dining and late check out options.
Nothing about the property itself. Did look to upgrade the room via bid system but unfortunately didn’t get a response until we had already checked out! Only a minor niggle, stay was otherwise fantastic!
Hotel has good style and comfort
Nothing
Short notice business lunch with colleagues and clients and absolutely delighted with venue, service and quality of food. Just lovely!

Spent the bank holiday Sunday into Monday there. From the second we arrived the service was fantastic. The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff were polite and attentive.
We will certainly be staying again.
We didnt have breakfast, but had dinner the day before and was first class.
Room lovely, but no bath only shower facility
Fabulous hotel, great staff, central location. Would recommend. Definitely coming back the next time we need to stay in Glasgow.
The Dakota Glasgow is a wonderful hotel. Very charming with a lot of style for the interior. Staff has been very helpful and they also kept two parcels for me, which was very appreciative. The quality and standard equals a 5* hotel
Unfortunately it is a bit expensive. It ranges more in the equivalent of a 5* hotel, which is absolutely justified if you only consider style and quality. However for a 5* property it is missing a Spa or Gym, which makes it not the best value for money
Location, amenities in the hotel, comfortable bed, large rooms, breakfast & excellent service from staff
The lighting in the room can be quite dark in places…had to use my phone light to work the coffee machine. Ambient & atmospheric, however would have liked the choice to brighten things up in the room.
Very clean. Very comfortable. Staff is excellent
