This place was perfect for my stay. Right on a quiet beach. Great place to relax, poke around local shops and eat at a small range of local eateries.
The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff went the extra mile to make my stay positive.
Is you want action or night life this isn’t for you. But, if you’re after somewhere to wander along a small clean beach, eat fantastic food, read and swim, you may want to consider this.

Bungalowene ser innbydende ut på brosjyren, men når en kommer til stedet og ser at alle hyttene har plastpresenning på taket begynner man å undres. Og når man åpner døra blir man litt tafatt. Skittent og uflidd ser det ut. Badet er fullt av muggsopp, Forhenget til dusjen har tydelige muggangrep. I handvasken kryr det av små maur, de har trekkvei! Og senga ser ikke ren ut - og var ikke ren. Jeg skal skrive inn en e-post til expedia med bilder for å dokumentere slik det var og hvilke problemer jeg fikk. Jeg er rett og slett oppspist av småkryp som var i sengen. Og det klør som besatt. Jeg har fått en ferie totalt spolert på grunn av dette og kommer til å legge fram erstatningskrav overfor expedia - for hele ferien. Og med kompensasjon for ubehaget med å være frokost, middags og kveldsrett for sengeudyr! Personalet var hyggelig nok er og ikke noe å utsette på. Beliggenheten er fantastisk. Men hyttene egner seg mest til en brannøvelse for det lokale brannvesenet, for så å bygge opp anlegget til et moderne flott anlegg på en flott beliggenhet. Ellers skjemmes området i Bogmolo, i Marmagao og i India generelt, at det ser ikke ut til at noen har ansvar for å rydde søppel. Det er grotesk hvordan søppel flyter over alt - og det trekker helhetsinntrykket av India ned så alt for mye. Her bør reisearrangører og de som ordner med hotellbookinger sørge for å stille krav slik at det blir seende ut. Men mitt hovedinntrykk av Beach Bay Cottage er nedslående og anlegget bør stenges.

Sehr nah am Strand, gute Standort. Personal sehr freundlich und aufopferungsvoll. Tagsüber ruhig, nur ab und zu sehr laut weil nah am Flughafen.

AWFUL!!! Property was in no way ready to accept guests. Uncared for property, bathroom was abysmal a little maintenance inside huts rather than the concentration outside would not have come amiss. Most awful smell when we first entered the hut. Breakfast was ok up till the last day when rations were cut right back, a rather large family party had arrived and staff seemed unable to cope. However lovely little village and beach , local people very friendly couple of nice places to eat and plenty of local taxis for excursions. Would not book this property again although we loved the area.

You stay here for the location and scenery, not the room itself.

The property manager is extremely friendly, helpful, and thorough.

The area is HEAVEN. A little tiny stretch on Bogmallo Beach that is just heavenly. The grounds are immaculate and right on the beach. Gated grounds with unobstructed ocean views with hammocks, seating, and palm trees. Walking distance to everything.

Pros: Spacious, private, air-conditioning works great! Has a mini fridge.

Cons: They are by no means fancy and aren’t really in the best condition. The shower is… interesting. But overall they’re totally fine! Just don’t expect a luxury. It was perfect for us.

We would stay here again for the privacy of the hutsand the location.

The hotel is over priced compared to the other hotels I stayed in , nothing near it except a really expensive restaurant but dilicious. Noisy since it's near the airport with not a proper sound isolation.

The only too things which they are good is 10 minutes drive to the airport and near the beach.

Stayed at the Beach bay cottages for 3 nights. The cottages are very close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, check in process was very straight forward, thanks to Vibhav who had all the information at hand in advance.Vibhav has excellent knowledge of the local area and was able to guide us to restaurants and other sight seeing places in Goa. He is a very professional and helpful and an asset the company. Leaving with a good memories from our stay at Beachbay cottages and will definitely be back.

What’s not to like?

OK but no hot water and too much no smoking stuff. A bit cut off from the rest of India so trapped in a touristy few shops.

Just a 7 minute drive from the airport this is a great little hotel. Good sized cabin, well maintained and clean and right on a really nice beach. Slept really well. As always though it's the people which are the key thing and the young guy on reception was super helpful & efficient with loads of info about the nearby eateries etc. We'd certainly stay there again.

All good except dogs and street part at night

My experience from booking at this place to staying here was not so good. Very out dated facility. Location is very nice and in front of beach.

We had a late-night flight into Goa, and I didn't want to incur the extra night-taxi charges or have to travel for an hour to get to Calangute in the middle of the night, so I booked a thatched hut at the Beach Bay Cottages, about a mile from the airport on Bogmalo Beach. What a delightful place! I wish we had stayed there longer--the beach was lovely and empty, the hotel staff were all very helpful, there were mostly Indian travelers (no sunburned Brits to be found!), the wifi was robust, and the breakfast was delicious. Plus, the thatched hut was like a giant blackout curtain--we slept until the alarm went off at 8:30am, with only some lovely birdsong and the sound of the waves as accompaniment.

It was a last minute, but they were so helpful & accommodating. They let us check in early. They booked a early cab for us. So nice. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. The location is great for beach access & it is very peaceful. You can hear the beach at night! I would probably stay here 1-2 nights. Food options in the area are limited & the facilities would be too limited for a longer stay. I would say max 2 to a room. We had a 3rd person & she got a mattress on the floor. The wifi was not reliable. Overall, I'd say stay for a night or 2. It is close to the airport & beach, affordable with nice staff.

Bad experience cottages had burnt down given alternative accomadation in the chalets you had to pass through major building work and climb very steep stairway, did not enjoy this hotel at all

Had a very nice stay here. It is directly opposite the sandy beach of Bogmalo where the sunset is stunning.
Rooms are large, as are the bathrooms. Air-conditioning worked very well, and it was a bonus the TV had english movies and channels.
Staff are very friendly and are always happy to meet your needs
The town is very quiet, and you can walk the stretch in under 5 minutes. Only a few shops and there is an ATM slightly further up nearer the Aviation museum.
