Pleasant stay in Ypres
Pros:

Location, comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly/competent staff.

Cons:

Understand importance of saving on utilities but electric lights, etc in room were not user friendly. Sometimes, they worked and other times, not. Got up in morning and had to go to switch by door for lights to come on rather than at bedside.

Great mattresses
Pros:

As good as it gets in Ieper. I'm with the Commonwealth Wargraves Commission and am in Ieper regularly; if my budget will stretch, I will always stay here. One word of caution, there is no kitchen on a Sunday evening but there are so many good places in the town about 500m away that its no hardship.
Other than that, a great place with the best hotel bed I've ever had.

Wonderful stay at the Ariane
Pros:

Excellent "family run" feel. Reception always helpful & efficient. Really comfortable room, superb meals in restaurant, bar service faultless. All the hotel personnel are friendly, welcoming & provide excellent customer service. I've been going for 25+ years and it never fails to excel.

Would definitely recommend
Pros:

Excellent location, central to everything,
Free parking, good quality breakfast with lots of choice both cooked and continental.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Restaurant served a good choice of food although shut on a Sunday,
Rooms clean and modern.
Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Visit to the War museums - good location central.
Pros:

We arrived to a very friendly welcome the hotel is very well situated and has ample parking [free] the reception staff were extremely helpful and informative. The rooms were very nice, clean, tidy had everything you need - including an umbrella - the bar area and dining rooms were really well equipped and the food was lovely. Buffet breakfast was very good, lots to choose from even having the eggs/omelettes cooked as you want with various fillings. The hotel is good value for money, clean and about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. We will we booking again next year
