Great view of the Chapel Bridge! Loved the balcony. Sweet and helpful staff!
Staff was great! Location is superb!
Amazing view. Wonderful restaurant. Very helpful staff. 100% recommend!
This lovely property along the river was so quaint and comfy. Hannah at the front desk was extremely helpful with all of our questions about things to do in the area. We definitely plan to stay here again.
Very nice and clean hotel in the heart of Lucerne. If you can, splurge for the balcony rooms. A beautiful view. The breakfast vouchers were nice for each morning as well. The staff was super friendly.
The room was perfect. We had a balcony in the back of property with wonderful space and views. Location was unbeatable.
Great stay! Staff was friendly, helpful and the hotel was lovely
We loved this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large and the bed was wonderful.
This hotel is right next to Chapel Bridge. It has a very nice restaurant. Walking distance to old town and boats for trip around the lake. We would stay here again.
Enjoy!
Very nice and helpful reception staff offered good recommendations for dining and things to do while in Luzern. We arrived early but they were able to check us in and allowed us to safely store our luggage until our room was ready.
We loved our stay at Hotel des Alpes! The location is unbeatable, right on the water and just steps away from everything we wanted to see in Lucerne. Our room was comfortable and had plenty of space, plus a balcony with such a pretty view of the city. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, which really made our stay feel special. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne!
Lovely - it’s my second time staying there
Great location.
We had an upgraded room
Reception staff was very helpful. Great location.
Balcony view was awesome! Rooms are small, bathroom is small! Bed was comfy. Used a fan and opened the doors in the summer because it was hot.
Great location. Very comfortable. Loved it!
This property does not have air conditioning. We visited Lucerne in August and it was hot. Fans do not do justice.
We enjoyed our stay. It was quaintly modern place. Loved the location. Would definitely stay again at this location.
just so beautiful - splurge for the balcony
I believe we had one of their best rooms with the large balcony overlooking the river. The size of the room was definitely larger than the others with two French doors leading to the balcony. The bathroom looks newly remodeled. Small shower, could use more than one towel bar and sink stopper to be able to fill sink with water. There is no AC in the hotel but they had a large Dyson fan. The location is close to a lot of boutiques and shopping along quaint cobblestone streets. Overall, we really liked it.
Location and view amazing. No air conditioning in the room. Very hot so could not sleep. If you leave balcony door open there were bugs in the room. Floor fan only moved hot air around and it shut itself off every few hours. Had to get up many times during the night to turn it back on. Front desk staff just shrugged and said Switzerland doesn’t use AC. They need portable AC units in the rooms. Not just a fan.
