Peaceful hotel in the countryside.
Pros:

The owner was the friendliest man, as was the waitress and all the staff.

The hotel had so much character. Although quite modern accommodation, the charm was still there from the previous centuries.

Lovely country walk from the car park too.

Best burgers ever!

Cons:

We found the duvet too hot, as we are used to a sheet and blanket. Perhaps one could be provided in a cupboard?

We enjoyed our stay just a shame about the mattress. I couldn't sleep.
Pros:

The room was nice and clean. Nice surroundings, lovely well kept flower baskets. My husband got an English breakfast and this was nice. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

In the bedroom, the mattress was hard for me and I didn't have a comfortable sleep. For breakfast, I had an Egg Royale, the "smoked salmon" was not smoked enough and the taste was not nice.

Golfers break
Pros:

Excellent helpful staff, clean comfy room, delicious Sunday dinner and lovely breakfast. A great location for golfers 🏌️‍♂️

Cons:

Could provide shower and hair wash, the bath/ shower was slippery therefore a bath mat could be provided.

Excellent country pub with rooms.
Pros:

Everything was superb.
Staff very friendly throughout the hotel and pub.
Food was delicious and the room was really comfortable

Very nice stay but could so easily have been a great stay.
Pros:

Freshly decorated with contemporary and high quality furnishings.
Courtyard setting away from the bar area meant we had a quiet night, even on a bank holiday weekend.

Cons:

Lacking attention to detail and cleanliness could have been slightly better, i.e., between bed and bedside cabinet had cobwebs, lampshades had cobwebs, etc.
No fruit nor any dairy free spread available at breakfast.

Comfortable stay at a lovely B&B
Pros:

The rooms around the courtyard were a nice layout.
The rooms were fresh and clean and the bed was comfortable

Cons:

Check in is a bit late at 3pm and reception was not open when we arrived. A note was left to ring for service.
No fridge in the room
