Clean and convenient
Pros:

The water was hot. The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Advertised as a trendy boutique, but was more like a motel. Decor was dated. The price was ridiculous for what you got.

Definitely a cute area to stay in
Pros:

Wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows which helped. Cute area, lovely setup. Parking was hit and miss but not bad at all. Everything in our room worked. Short walk to The Cow Tipper which was very clean, delicious place for breakfast, and top service. The trail to walk and see the ocean was fantastic

Cons:

Because our room was small and outdated, I just didn't feel like the price of the rooms matched what we stayed in.

We had a lovely experience at Ocean Point, just wished it could’ve been longer.
Pros:

It’s a lovely facility and directly across from forest and ocean

Our tv was broken and my mother found the bed’s mushy

Comfortable and fun for all!
Pros:

Great location. Lots of fun activities around spacious grounds. Easy walk to food and coastal access.

Cons:

No A/C or ceiling fan. I did fine with just open windows at night but my older mother had issues. As climate temps rise, this will need to be addressed.

Cons:

The lady at reception refused to store our luggage on the day of check-out, which completely messed up the plans we had made for our day in Cambria, as we did not want to leave our luggage in the car.

I have spent hundreds, if not thousands, of nights in hotels over the years, and this was the first time I have ever been refused luggage storage after check-out. We had just completed a trip through California, staying at several different hotels, and nowhere else were we turned down when asking reception to keep our luggage for a few hours.

What makes this particularly disappointing is that it was such a small and simple gesture that could have made a significant difference to our experience. The hotel itself would otherwise have left us with a very positive impression, but this minor detail had a a big impact on our stay.

Sometimes it is precisely these small gestures of hospitality that define the overall guest experience.

A great location, fun fire pits and games. Not the best customer service and don’t expect AC or a working fan.
Pros:

The location is amazing, the views, fire pits, gardens, and beach access are great. It’s very quiet at night. The hotel is clean and it’s convenient to have a great breakfast restaurant on site.

Cons:

The staff reassigned our room to another family after we checked in. While this was worked out, it was stressful and should not have happened. Additionally, we stayed during a heat wave and they did not have a working fan. While the weather is outside the hotels control, they should be more prepared and have fans.

Zimmer und Unterkunft sehr sauber und fein - Rezeption leider nicht pünktlich besetzt!
Pros:

Das Hotel bzw. das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Parkplätze sind nahe an den Zimmern (wenn man rechtzeitig anreist). Der Pool hinter dem Gebäude war schön und die ganze Anlage sieht sehr gepflegt aus.

Cons:

Da wir spontan entschieden haben morgens etwas früher loszufahren, haben wir abends noch nachgesehen, ab wann die Rezeption für den CheckOut da ist. Dies sollte ab 7:00 Uhr morgens sein. Leider war bis 7:25 keiner da. Obwohl mehrere Bedienstete (Gärtner,..) am Gelände unterwegs waren, hat sich keiner zuständig gefühlt oder uns unterstützt. Da wir das Zimmer schon vorab bezahlt hatten, haben wir die Schlüsselkarte mit einer kleinen Notiz beim Briefeinwurf der Rezeption eingeworfen, in der Hoffnung, dass das OK geht und eine E-Mail geschrieben! Wir haben dann am Vormittag die Info via Mail bekommen, dass die Rezeption ab 8:25 Uhr besetzt ist!??!
