Hotel Blue Bird Colaba

This hotel is in a great location, but the rooms are disgusting. In one evening, I killed three roaches in the room. If the management would bother to clean the place, it could be very nice. But that is not happening at the present.

Pretty bad experience. Bad staff. Bad condition

The room was so cramped that we could barely squeeze ourselves in.
The bathroom was so small that it was difficult to use it. All in all
it was a terrible experience.

This hotel is not for families. One or two nights ok if you are on tight budget otherwise look for somewhere else but this hotel is in Colaba which is heart of Mumbai. Close to Train station and Gateway of India. Some of the taxi drivers will con you if they find that you are foreigner. Best to take metered taxi. This hotel has no kitchen so everything needs to be ordered from another restaurant. Air condition was fine but water pressure in the shower was very bad. After long day if you want hot shower leave the water running fotr 20 minutes before the hot water will come.

The hotel was decent. Amenities could have been better. The bed was not the comfiest and the bathroom was small.

저희는 4명이라 트리플 룸을 잡고 엑스트라 베드를 추가했는데, 뜨거운 물이 잘 나와서 우선 좋았습니다. 벌레는 커다란 바퀴벌레 한마리를 봤는데 방 밖으로 나간 후에는 본 적이 없습니다. 직원 아저씨도 부르면 잘 와주시고 착하십니다. 밖이 릭샤나 다른 차 때문에 시끄럽지만 저는 소리에 별로 민감하지 않아서 괜찮았습니다. 배달 음식도 시켜먹을 수 있고 여차하면 근처에 NRP 식당이 있어서 밥도 편히 먹을 수 있었습니다. 앞에 은행이 있어서 돈 뽑기도 좋고 술집도 있어서 좋았습니다. 문제는 초빠띠 해변이나 처치게이트 같은 메인 거리로 나가려면 택시를 타야한다는 것 뿐입니다. 그 외에는 괜찮았습니다. 왠만하면 택시를 타야하니 저렴하게 머물고 싶다면 이곳을 추천합니다.

I could imagine all big city like Mumbai, they have always a same problem like here.
Much people, many problems between customers, bad relationship between staffs...
So if you want to stay more comfortable in Mumbai, you should pay more expense and better to apart from coraba area.

I had some problems at this hotel and actually it was not surprising for me at all.
Because here is in INDIA, so everything possible and happens.

Windows at bathroom was broken and can't close at all,
One of staffs came to wake up at 5:00 in the morning in sudden and he said"Did you call me?"... When I was so sickness at all, and I wanted sleeping but he wake me up! At VERY EARLY MORNING! I DIDN'T CALL YOU!

Last one, when I left at this hotel in early morning, the manager called me and said "You should pay 35 rps for chai"
... I paid all my room charge and chai charge everything at the previous date....

I don't know why like this accident happened EVERYDAY here,
but only I can say now,
If I want to stay more comfortable in Mumbai, I should pay more.
That's all.

Still trying to get in contact with Expedia UKover this booking. You and Hotel Bird Colaba need to sort out your booking confirmations. Vile horrible hotel who didn't take card payment even though when booking it said they did.

The hotel is very well located. Staff is nice but they could better their service.

The Hotel ambience was not at all good. Very shabby untidy lobbies & stairways. Not at all spacious. Very crampy. Room floor was stain filled. Toilet cleanliness not at all upto the mark. Not a value for money at all

The hotel is fairly well situated. the staff are very friendly and helpful. the room small but clean. the bathroom tiny but adequate with a good if cramped shower. I'd stay here again.
