Shade House - Bitec Bangna

It’s the complete opposite of what they show. I don’t normally write down reviews because i can’t be bothered, but this one got me good.

I was supposed to stay there the other day. When i checked in, i do not feel comfortable nor safe. As i walked into the reception, the staff weren’t wearing a uniform and one of them (not sure if he’s also staff or a friend of one) had his leg on the sofa.

I tried to ignore it and went upstairs to the room because i was in a rush. Got into the room, immediately notice the lighting was off. 7 out of 10 lights that were in the room were dead, so the lighting was very poor. I opened the toilet door for some extra lighting, and left. When i came back, i walked in the room feeling stalked as if someone was present in the room with me (i was by myself). Until i decided to get washed and rest, my bathroom (which i left opened for better light) was closed and locked. I was shocked, unsure wether it was locked from the outside or the inside.

My room was locked when i came back. I tried unlocking the door with my hotel room incase i forgot that i might’ve locked it by accident (which i doubt i did), and my hotel room key wasn’t matched with the door knob. This left me with two scenarios, either them locking my bathroom for some stupid reason without telling me, or someone is using my bathroom that i did not know of.

Ran downstairs because i heard a water drop from inside and to report this situation to the staff, but no one was around.. I immediately packed my things and left.

The room in the picture is nothing compared to the reality, and when compared to the price, it's a completely different story.

This hotel is good for those who want a place to stay without the extra frills. Though basic, it serves is purpose.

Nope

The property looks slightly rundown. It had a huge prospect to the idea of Japanese-style homestay. But without frequent maintenance, you see bathroom door peeling off, door locks were unstable and tight, floors all sticky, dusty shelving, stains on blanket, air-conditioning malfunction, blinking lights, TV doesn't work, blocked drainage. Dusty air? Count that, too. Don't expect an elevator, you just need to drag your huge luggage up. But that's fine for us. We even had a little visitor in our bathroom - Mr Clingy Centipede.

The room condition is so bad. The floor is so dirty like never mop for long time. I’ll need to wear socks in the room, end up my socks are dirty I need to throw my socks away. The bathroom is so mouldy. Don’t think the bathroom is properly cleaned it.

A lift in the facility would have been better

Noisy from nearby major road; 3rd floor without elevator; hair & other things in the drain

Cleanliness....it was DIRTY
