Overall, I was disappointed with my stay, and I do not feel the room quality matched the price charged.
Pros:

The location was strategic nearby to KSL mall for food hunting and shopping

Cons:

I booked the Premium Suite for one night (Room 1301). Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience during my stay.
The air conditioner was not cold even though I set the temperature to 15°C, which made it very uncomfortable and caused me to sweat while sleeping. In addition, the mini fridge was switched on but was not cooling at all.
The room lighting was also too dim, and there wasn’t even a light above the sofa area, making the room feel quite dark.(at night)
Considering the price paid for the Premium Suite, I don’t feel that the experience was worth the cost. I hope the management can improve these issues for future guests.

Convenient go-to place for short stay in Johor Baru
Pros:

Location is well situated to amenities e.g. food, shopping and massage. Hotel is easily accessible from causeway or 2nd link. You can also go to other locations e.g. South Key by-passing the central district.

Cons:

One of the roads is rather congested at most times of the day so you may need to look for alternative routes

I will always choose Holiday Villa as my preferred hotel to stay at.
Pros:

Location is fantastic, just a short distance away from KSL but not as busy.
