disappointing

Cons:

Hotel is sold as a higher quality experience but when I walked into the room it was like they had tried to upgrade grandmas old house. 2 comfortable beds ...double...tiny tv in far right corner of the room high on the wall with a black cord hanging at an angle from it. A yellowy beige drapy half obscured the screen. It looked really outdated but not in a quaint way. It looked like a motel on highway 66 that got moved to NYC so they charged more ...because its NYC. The foyer is very impressive but the room was really NOT impressive. I was glad to be there one night only.

Stay here for the Location - I insist.
Pros:

The location of 3 West Club is unmatched - it is in an excellent location especially at Christmas Time. The Rockefeller Christmas Tree was so close and we could see the Sak's 5th Avenue Light Show from our window. It was so easy to walk everywhere being in this location. The staff were always friendly when we saw them in the lobby and so helpful. The room was great, we stayed in a twin room, and for the middle of New York it was bigger than expected. The cloak room/wardrobe was super helpful to hang our coats to dry out of night. I would insist to friends and family they must stay here.

Cons:

The only slight negative we had was we couldn't find out how to get access to the balcony/restaurant pictured in the photos to see the church and street view from up high.

Another superb stay at the 3 West Club!
Pros:

An absolute stellar location in midtown Manhattan, this hotel will appeal to those who prefer a small "boutique" property. The building being older means the doors are heavy/thick. Ceilings are high, all leading to a quiet environment. Rooms are attended to daily by housekeeping, linen is soft and a big plus for me at least...you can open the windows for fresh air.

Cons:

Sadly, they no longer serve a breakfast. However, there is nothing else that I find to be a negative.
