Pros:

Staff was friendly. Place good and room. But the bed and the bedsheets and pillow smells so bad. Please remember that cleanliness is the most important.

Budget OK hotel
Pros:

Good price, around $20NZD/night for a couple with AC.

Positive:
- good location, close to the port
- cheap with A/C and cable TV
- it has parking in front of the hotel

Negative:
- no lift
- no hot shower
- no breakfast

I wi-if in the rooms!
Pros:

The hotel is good located in town, some mall close by but not really any restaurants, street food or tourist around. It was fine anyway but the price is overpriced. The rooms are okay, nothing fancy at all, very simple and the toilet smelled a little bit like pee. Had to ask for toilet paper all the time. Best part was the TV channels!

Good for Work Travel
Pros:

This is a new open branch of GV Hotels here in the Philippines. As expected the hotel are clean and well maintained since its been only 5 months that was opened. The price is reasonable, since they have Fan room which give you a choice of affordable room. This is an advantage to a salesman or working in fields who needs to overcome a tight budget. They have also an aircon room for those who is in vacation mood.
But there's no elevator. If you choose the Fan room you have to take a stair going up to the 5th floor. WiFi is only available at the ground floor.
