From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
From 1st June 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4- and 5-star hotels and MYR 2 per room per night for 0- to 3-star hotels. The property’s star rating will be in accordance to the rating from the Local Council, and should the rating differ from the website, the Local Council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.

Locatie, personeel en de mooie kamer
De gehorigheid. Gebouw is aan de straatkant open en daardoor galmt het geluid erdoor en hoe je ook al ligt je kamer niet aan de straatkant toch veel geluid en 2 moskeeën die al heeeeeel vroeg beginnen

Pues que la TV está colgada en la pared a la altura del hombro, y cada vez que iba al baño, me daba un buen golpe. Y esque no había mucha distancia entre la pared y la cama
Otro punto negativo diría que para ir al baño, tienes que subir tres escalones. Y es un engorro

酒店位置相當好！靠近巴士總站，也靠近用餐地方，是相當理想的住宿地點。
基本上來檳城辦事或渡假，我都會選擇金栢麗酒店，就因為它讓我住得很舒服。
但這次有件事情卻令我感到非常屈辱，不吐不快！
這次我訂了住3晚，由於床型不對，第二天要求換了兩張單人床，其實都很OK，櫃台也很配合處理。
最後一天退房時，突然被通知說我們拿走了房內物件，是一個裝包裝咖啡飲料的小盒子。並且還說我們第一天入住的房間就已經被我們拿走了！他只說有在員工群組裡報知，還說已打電話到房間給我們，可惜我們已外出沒接聽。
處理這事件的男員工名叫Kenneth，態度非常惡劣！一味指明就是被我們拿了！並要我們作出賠償！
我想提出的質疑就是：
1. 第二天換房後發現東西不見，通知不到我們，為什麼不在當天晚上我們回來時，交代櫃台轉告我們呢？而要等到最後一天退房時再作處理！
2 此名叫Kenneth的男員工態度之惡劣，口氣之囂張，是我從未在任何酒店遇過的！他就是一副有恃無恐，準備置你於死地的模樣！我覺得這種員工的存在，只會造成你們酒店名聲的受損！
3.如果真的如他所說，東西是我們拿了，就應該想方設法在我們還住在酒店時來通知，而不是到最後一刻退了房再來大作文章！
4.好笑的是，鬧到最後他竟說無所謂不計較了！你知道浪費了我們多少時間嗎？如果誤了班機，趕不上火車，誰來負責作出賠償？你們酒店嗎？還是我們旅客自己？
在此，我鄭重要求你們酒店必須作出道歉！並且對這名喚作Kenneth的男員工作出處分！
Posizione e colazione, una camera famiglia non troppo grande ma essenziale. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e anche lo staff era gentile. La posizione era ottima e la colazione più che sufficiente. Acqua a disposizione, asciugamani puliti, set per tè caldo. Accanto si trovano facilmente bar e ristoranti, un centro commerciale e proprio accanto c’è una lavanderia.
Non troppo approfondita la pulizia

Central location to many walkable eateries & night markets, popular shopping locations, a couple of pickleball courts, and massage.
Hotel TV has YouTube and Netflix apps.
Light directly over our bed was too glaring but light outside the bathroom was too dim. Looks like the lights were installed wrongly. Bedsheets have yellow stains, pillows are too high and the hotel didn't have lower pillows, only slightly softer ones. Pillows have an unpleasant sweat smell.
Due to the location of the installation of the TV box, it's hard to use the TV remote controls because we need to aim at the TV box that's installed on the other side of & behind the TV.
Photos used on the booking website looked really nice but the actual hotel room is actually pretty old. Drawers are hard to pull out, clothes rod for hanging hangers are installed at an angle instead of parallel to the ground.
Bedsheets, linens and pillow cases with stains should not be used any more.
La camera era pulita e la struttura in una buona posizione. Nella via perpendicolare c’è il kimberley food market, uno dei più famosi della città. Ci hanno fatto lasciare i bagagli in struttura fino alla sera senza chiedere niente in più. La colazione non è molto variegata ma è comunque buona.
Il letto non è comodissimo ma si sta bene
