From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
From 1st June 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4- and 5-star hotels and MYR 2 per room per night for 0- to 3-star hotels. The property’s star rating will be in accordance to the rating from the Local Council, and should the rating differ from the website, the Local Council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.

Location - very convenient
Towels have unpleasant odour even after request for change.
Odour is similar to towels not dried thoroughly - musky. Perhaps it’s time to change the service provider of laundry used by hotel.
Location is walking distance to good food n cafe’s.

The hotel room is old needing renovation. Shower is not separated from toilet so gets flooded with water after shower. Otherwise not a bad accommodation for a short 2-3 days stay.

Staff and reception are accommodating on top of its good and central location. Next to a laundry, has a cafe, near the bus terminal/mall. Has a security staff outside so it’s safe to walk at night. Decent wi-fi connection, room is at the end of the hallway snd is quiet except for the street noise/mosque sounds. Nearby Kimberley where the street foods are at. Thank you!
The bathroom floods when you’re taking a bath. Thankfully the staff is accommodating and provided us with all we need.
Hotel needs refurbishing (drainage and furniture). Looking forward to this hotel to be renovated in the future.

Facilities are old, air con noisy and smelly furniture.
Emplacement imbattable pour découvrir George Town entièrement à pied : tout est à proximité et c’est clairement le grand point fort de cet hôtel.
En revanche, la chambre était extrêmement petite et très sombre. La fenêtre donnait directement sur un mur situé à environ 50 cm, ce qui renforçait une véritable sensation d’enfermement. Pour les personnes sensibles à la claustrophobie, cela peut être assez inconfortable.
Dommage, car avec un tel emplacement, l’expérience aurait pu être bien meilleure.

The location is amazing! It's right in the centre of Georgetown (but that just mean parking options are limited). The bed is very comfortable with a lot of pillows. The water pressure is very nice for the shower. The aircon is good and cool the room very fast.
I requested a room further from the lift (the first one I had was right in front of the lift), and the reception managed to move me to another room. Very nice service! The guard was helpful in helping me find a car park.
There are only less than 20 parking spaces. If it is full, you'll need to park along the roads. But there's a lot of traffic, so you need to have good luck.
