Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

From 1st June 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4- and 5-star hotels and MYR 2 per room per night for 0- to 3-star hotels. The property’s star rating will be in accordance to the rating from the Local Council, and should the rating differ from the website, the Local Council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.

The hotel requires a refundable security deposit of RM 50 per night upon check-in by cash or credit card.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

This hotel is my favourite in Georgetown, I’ve stayed here a few times now.
Pros:

My room was comfortable, clean with everything I needed in there. The staff work hard and smiley!

Cons:

Chambre minuscule impossible de poser les valises, fenêtre occultée donc dans le noir en permanence. Ménage jamais fait poubelles jamais vidées durant notre séjour. Inacceptable !

Pros:

Very near night street food.

Cons:

FLOOR WAS VERY DIRTY! The bed squeaks (same story from the first room given to us!). The whole bathroom floor gets wet when you take a bath since there is no separation/barrier for the water flow.
