ibis budget Paris Porte d'Orleans

I booked this hotel through Expedia because this is our company policy. When arriving, the hotel claimed they got the wrong name on the reservation from Expedia and then told me I should take it up with them as I did not book with the hotel. Even upon showing the booking confirmation and proof they insisted the name did not correspond to what they had and could not check me in. Our assistant sent an email to their hotel reception with all the proof but no response yet after +2 hours if I will be able to check in tonight. Booking paid and name correct in Expedia booking confirmation. As a customer it’s not nice to be in the middle of discussions between Expedia and the hotel because the hotel’s booking system is not synced with theirs. I understand the reception is under a lot of pressure but a nice, friendly and helpful receptionist would also have been appreciated. And this is not the first time this happened to us here!

I had a voucher. I was told the amount will be refunded after the end of validly date if not used. I emailed them a few days after the expiry date (since the refund didn't happen automatically ofc). My emails to various email addresses were ignored for weeks. Then in a longer letter I explained how this is unacceptable and sent it to all email address I found on them. They finally replied and after many more emails they cought up. They asked the same questions multiple times until they finally managed to do the refund. Were they hoping people forget their money (maybe some did unfortunately) and only act when threatened? When they offered me the voucher at the beginning I had to ask them in 3 separate emails to tell me exactly what is going to happen after the end of validity date, so I can refer to it later. It's good I did.

Belle prestation. La suite était parfaite. Repas pris au restaurant.
Service de navette parfait.

Pontos positivos:
- Excelente atendimento da recepção
- Linda vista para a torre Eiffel
- Limpeza
- Próximo ao metrô Porte D'Orleans, por volta de 10~12 minutos andando.

Pontos negativos:
- O café da manhã (incluso) é bem simples. (Caso queira ovo, você precisa cozinhar.)
- Não tem frigobar(Mini-bar)
- Não tem secador de cabelo
- As toalhas são pequenas
- Não tem toalha de rosto
- O quarto é equipado com um banco e não uma cadeira.

Importante, o hotel fica um pouco distante do centro de Paris,

Estação Porte D'Orleans para:
- Louvre: 23 ~ 25 minutos (Metrô linha 4)
- Torre Eiffel: - 25 ~ 27 minutos (Metrô Linha 4 e Linha 6)
- Disneyland Paris: 1 hora ~ 1 hora e 10 minutos (Metrô linha 4 e RER A).

Em três dias, cheguei depois das 23:00. Apesar de as ruas terem uma iluminação fraca, não me senti inseguro. (Porém, é sempre bom ficar atento.)

Great location, room with a good view of the Eiffel Tower, comfortable bed and wonderful good value breakfast. This is our third mini break at this hotel, and would come back again.

Quarto limpo, equipe receptiva, cortês e dispostas a ajudar, café da manhã embora sem muita variedade, atende aos requisitos. O unico ponto que deixou a desejar é o fsto de não ter um feigobar no quarto e como a máquina da recepção somente aceitava moedas, dificultou um pouco para termos um lanche e uma água à disposição. Outro ponto também é que foi disponibilizado somente um edredom solteiro, tive que ir na recepção duas vezes pedir mais e foi me dado um cobertor, o ideal é que já tivesse no quarto um edredom casal e outro solteiro, afinal, reservei um quarto tripo.

You have no control of the A/C. It stays at 23C (74F) and the windows are not openable. As someone who gets hot easily, this was very annoying especially since there was cooler weather outside. There were also some mosquitoes in the room which I am unsure where they came from. Had a couple of nights waking up being bit

I was very happy with our stay at the Paris Ibis budget Porte D'Orleans. The room was small, the toilet was literally in a closet and the shower was small, but it was perfect for our stay.
We were in Paris to experience the sites and the culture, not stay in our hotel room all day.

It was quiet, well located (a quick walk to the Porte d'Orleans train station with a gas station across the street for late night snacks.

The lobby had a cool vibe with some snack machines, some chairs and tables, but we didn't really take advantage of those.

The bed was a bit old, but comfortable enough. We didn't notice any noise from other guests or street noise and we had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room.

I would definitely stay again.

Está un poco lejos del centro pero tiene acceso al metro a unos metros. La habitación es muy pequeña pero cómoda y limpia

A locação e ok. Os quartos são muito pequenos, acomodam bem ate um casal. O ar condicionado e péssimo
