Nice spacious room..

The location of this property is excellent. A one minute walk gets you to the main road where there are shops and restaurants and then cross the street and you are in the beach. The room was big and clean but unfortunately I had to change rooms after my first night there. The fellow that runs the place is friendly and super helpful. There are lots of stairs in this property but the owner takes your luggage up to the room for you.

Cleaning every third day.
Lack of shampo and toilet paper.
One towel per person.
Two coffe and one tea bag for two person during five days.
Poor Internet-barely possible to stream…(no tv in the room).
You probably get what you pay for. Low price and good location close to the beach. Ok breakfast for 5€.
Nice family running the place.

Das Zimmer ist groß mit eine Terrasse und das Bett war super. Es ist in eine ruhige Straße mit wenig Verkehr. Zu Strand 5 Min. Gehzeit. Am Hausgang kam sehr laute Geräusche von der Klimaanlage oder der Generator zeitweise.

Very good and comfortable

This is a lovely family run small hotel in a quiet road only 5 minutes walk from the beach. The room we had was modern, well equipped and very comfortable. That breakfast was very good - masses of lovely fresh fruit.

Отличное расположение, 50 метров до океана, радушные хозяева, готовые помочь по любому вопросу. Приятные номера с очень классной просторной верандой. Приезжали в этот гестхаус не первый раз, все нравится. Вай-фай есть, но временами очень медленный, ночью становится нормальным.

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is very close to the beach, but no view of it. It’s just a short walk from the beach.

Very nice stay. Good size room. Great breakfast. Wifi spotty. Good location across road from beach. Sun beds available at beach restaurants for 1000 rupees. Staff was amazing. Nice shared balcony with shaded tables. Great fun watching all the monkeys. Would stay here again.

The Internet was very bad. No server for most of the time, and when it did was very slow.

Ruhige Lage, da etwas zurückversetzt von der Hauptstrasse. 2 Minuten zu Fuss zum sehr schönen Strand von Mirissa. Einfache aber zweckmässige Zimmer. Tolles Bett. Preis/Leistung absolut gut.

Pros:
Close to the beach and coconut tree hills. Spacious room, cleanliness was acceptable.

Cons:
No lift.
They went into our room to switch off the air-cond which we are not comfortable with. We agreed to save electricity and save the earth, but we did that for some reason- 1. We were only out for late lunch and will be back soon. 2. The air-cond system is old, it took a long time to get cold.

Perhaps our favorite of the many places we stayed overnight during our time in Sri Lanka. The owners were really friendly and helpful and made sure to toss a cool bottle of water your way whenever you were sweating. This was also the only place which had a minibar, which is a big plus. The place also has a great atmosphere. Every room has a balcony which opens onto a large common area, which is great for dribking refrigurated beer and socializing in the evening. It is not the cleanest place we have seen as our room had some blood on the floor when we arrived, which stayed there for the full duration of our stay. But we really didn’t mind. Unfortunately the wifi was really bad to the point of being useless. The owners attributed this to the recent terrorist attacks, which occured during our stay. Another con would be the squeaky bed, for the most part we had to lie horizontal in bed during our lovemaking because we feared that the bed might collapse.The biggest selling point for us must have been the included breakfast. It starts out with a huge fruit platter including watermelon, pinapple, banana, papaya, passionfruit, yoghurt and once even avacado. The first day we thought this was the whole breakfast but than more plates arrived with the usual toast, butter, yam and omelete or fried eggs. All in all we were really happy with our stay. Location is great and you get great value. It deserves no less than a 10/10.

The hotel is near the beach but not directly on the main road so there's no traffic sounds. The room was great. Big room and really big bathroom! The stuff was really helpful! Would come again.

Very good breakfast . Good location and close to the beach but it is not crowded.. I someone like to take a picture of moneys can do early morning. Very interesting. All together good place to stay.

location is great, 30second walk from the beach. bed was comfy and room was spacious, bathroom was clean. water wasn't very warm but it was refreshing after being in the sun all day so didn't matter.
