Fantastsik
Pros:

Fantastisk hotel , meget autentisk, indrettet med kærlighed og omtanke , rolige autentiske omgivelser , prismæssigt 10 gange billigere end en hotel i byen , vi betalte ingenting for en suit værelse - med to store room - en dobbelt seng i den ene og 2 senge i den anden og to badeværelser.
Det tager 8-10 min kørsel i taxa i byen og koster 5 dollars .
Man kommer til at se og oplever hvordan de lokale folk bo udenfor byen og masse af skønne natur . Enormt sød personale der er klar til at hjælpe med det mindste . Der er dejlig morgenmad med frugt som de dyrker i hotellets have og gratis kaffe og vand
Der er mulighed til at slappe af og hænger i ligge svømmepool som er så ren og pæn
Værelser er rene lige som området udenfor
En fantastisk oplevelse hele vejen igennem - klart anbefales
Man får så meget for ingen valuta !

Welcoming family hotel with fresh local food
Pros:

This charming small hotel was very welcoming. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable. Meals, including breakfast, are set although they do check whether you like what they propose. Meals are taken in the communal dining area. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

It was quite a long way from Puerto Ayora but the taxis were good.

Disappointing stay – not worth it for the location and extra costs

I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Twin Galapagos and would not recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Santa Cruz.

First of all, I booked a family suite that clearly stated it included a one-way airport transfer. However, upon arrival, the hotel told us they never include transfers and charged us for both transfers, despite what was written in my Booking reservation. This immediately felt misleading and frustrating.

Regarding Wi-Fi, it is extremely poor. There is almost no connection and very weak signal. When booking, you are given the option to choose either a room with “fast Wi-Fi” or a transfer. I chose the transfer, assuming the Wi-Fi would at least be usable — but in the end, I had neither a transfer nor decent Wi-Fi. It is unclear whether choosing the “fast Wi-Fi” option actually guarantees a usable connection at all.

The location is very inconvenient. The hotel is far from the town center, and every trip costs USD 5–6 by taxi (sometimes they even tried to charge us USD 7, which felt like taking advantage of tourists). This adds up very quickly. The hotel does not have a restaurant, only breakfast, so every lunch or dinner requires going into town and paying taxis both ways. This is especially uncomfortable after long tours or when arriving tired from flights.

The breakfast has no variety at all. Every single day it was the same: eggs, ham, and bread (not even toasted). The only things that change are the fruit and the juice. After a couple of days, it becomes very repetitive and tiring.

The room did not match the photos shown online. The sink area was in poor condition, the blankets were very thin, and we were cold at night. Overall, the room felt basic and disappointing for the price.

One of the worst experiences happened on our departure day. Even though the hotel states check-out is until 2:00 PM, and our flight was at 3:00 PM, they told us to leave the room at 9:00 AM, claiming they needed it.

Absolutely amazing stay — everything was perfect from start to finish! The room was spotless, cleaned every single day, with fresh towels and clean bed sheets provided regularly.
Maria José is truly exceptional! She was there for us 24/7, always smiling, always helpful, and made everything so easy for us. She organized tours every day to explore all the incredible places around the Galápagos, and everything was very flexible and perfectly adapted to what we wanted. Her kindness really stood out, and meeting her sweet little daughter Valentina was an absolute joy — they made us feel like part of the family.
Breakfast was with delicious fresh fruit and freshly made juices every morning — such a perfect way to start the day.
The place itself is wonderfully calm and peaceful, located right in the middle of the island. Puerto Ayora is only about 12 minutes away by taxi, which costs around 5–6 USD, making it very easy to get around.
Overall, 10/10 — an unforgettable experience! We truly loved our stay and would come back without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended

Pros:

Loved the staff and the place in general. I was there during low season, so i got really personal service. Room was huge (had 2 extra beds) and area quite silent and peaceful, tho one cock had his internal clock all mixed up and was sometimes screaming at 11pm.

Lovely and quiet place surrounded by nature
Pros:

Quiet, clean and comfortable. For those who aim to stay in the middle of the nature, is a good option. The breakfast was delicious with their own products. The staff were adorable and always willing to help. We saw amazing sunrises from there :)
