Great overall experience! Wonderful for trip to river arts district.
Pros:

Good breakfast and amenities like pool, fitness center and coin laundry. Kind staff.

Cons:

On our second day we returned after a day out and found that the room had a very strong chemical smell. None of the staff seemed to know why. But they did offer to switch us to a lesser room for the remainder of our stay.

Exceptional.
Pros:

The staff was super friendly, the room was incredibly clean and they had the best breakfast set up I’ve ever seen for the price.

Cons:

Honestly nothing, the area is weird but it’s right off the highway and walking distance to a grocery store, cvs and other businesses.

Some staff was rude not all entrance access points not available from adjacent sides of building after hours guest are locked out after hours if they did not have key card and staff was not as the desk to be let in

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Asheville mit Auto
Pros:

Sehr engagiertes Personal, kostenloser Shuttlebus in die Innenstadt (leider nur Freitag und Samstag - aber immerhin) Parkplatz vorhanden. Frühstück war normales amerikanisches Motel-Frühstück, es gab aber Porzellantassen und -teller, das ist sehr positiv, richtiges Besteck wäre auch gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern ausgestattet.

Cons:

Ohne Auto kommt man nicht so gut in die Innenstadt und den Art-Distrikt, das war aber kein Problem, wir hatten ja eines.

Asheville is both an art centre and declining infrastructure.
Pros:

Country Inn and Suites sits in the middle of the Asheville metropolitan area. The approach from the west, through heavy traffic, makes for a sense of relief as you near the property. The front desk welcome was genuine, and the room was ready even though we were early. In the adjacent mall, we found a well-stocked grocery store and an interesting, large pottery centre with beautiful items for sale.

Cons:

The adjoining Mall had three restaurants, all boarded up with signs indicating either relocation or total abandonment. The CVS pharmacy had a foreboding entry and a heavily armed guard -- a surprise to an Australian visitor.

Great all around experience.
