I love the beautiful historical hotel. The location is second to none. The food is fantastic and the staff are exceptional. They are the ones that make the property super clean very very pleased indeed.
I didn’t like having to pay $200 for incidentals when I never use them and they would not even allow me to check in after I had prepaid the hotel in advance. Also, I was charged $40 additional when I checked out when I got home and was never advised of this. I was accused of ruining two towels, which of course you have make up and other things. It’s a towel so if I had known, I would’ve brought my own plus the fact, they said that there was blood on the comforter I never used the comforter and there was no blood that is really gross to think that somebody’s blood is on the comforter but what bothers me most as I was accused so they charged me $40 for towels and for a comforter which I didn’t ruin it, could’ve been on my suitcase. You know you check your suitcase through you don’t know who’s touching it who’s bleeding sneezing or whatever on it that is a big turn off for me and unfortunately, I will never stay there again and I’m a travel agent, so I will recommend my clients not to stay at that property.
The pâtisserie has coffee based beverages and four or five substantive breakfast/ brunch options as well as the usual array of croissants and assorted pastries( for purchase).
The beds are SUPER comfy and everything works(!) in the room. The room was quiet.
The shower/bath was commodious. The entrance to the 6 train(Green line) is immediately to the right on Park(?) Ave.
We loved staying here for 3 nights, family stay. In fact, kids mentioned that oull-out sofa bed mattress has been the most comfortable they have slept on. We rook the king-bed suite. Quiet. Clean, comfortable bed. Very close to 6 line subway. In korea-town. I am very picky and could not find a single thing to complain about. I booked through booking.com I contacted the hotel multiple times after booking and before stay for various queries and always got polite courteous employees on the phone. We parked overnight at a nearby facility for $45/night (van)...4 min walk from hotel.
Pool would have been nice
Location is great, midtown but between Park Ave, and Madison where you're not too much in the crowd like you would be on Broadway or 5th Ave. Our room was clean and cozy. Small for my personal taste but average for NYC. Charming rooftop patio but the music playing was such a turn off that we couldn't enjoy it. Staff were friendly. Our room was clean. GOod coffeeshop with good coffee downstairs. I think for the price of the stay, atleast a breakfast voucher or coffee voucher should be included, as there wasn't a coffee machine in our room either.
The staff were so accommodating, the location was fantastic and the room was pretty good
The AC unit leaked when it was left on all day/night
Location was great, staff was kind, little breakfast spot below (and sandwich window down the street) fast and easy.
One of two elevators always out and rooms small and single bed only, but small inconveniences for the location.
Vey quiet. Location. Next to a subway station.
No breakfast included.
Loved the location and the vibe. Definitely lived up to what the pictures reflected. The room was super comfortable, we slept like babies.
No microwaves available in rooms.
A localização é muito boa, quarto reformado e muito limpo. Os funcionários são simpáticos e atenciosos.
