There were no host and no hospitality. There were code received on telephone about the self check in. For this service we should pay half of price. There were stress. I was my holiday and I have to perform instructions.
May be this is good for aliens.
Friendly attentive staff and great location

Friendly staff. Great choice at breakfast.
I am not a fan of unstaffed receptions, but this worked perfectly. Key code to enter, clear instructions . Absolutely first class.
Great location lovely staff polite and attentive

Friendly staff, comfortable room, great Norfolk breakfast.
Lovely breakfast. Helpful at reception.
Very good location.
We had a such a fabulous stay here. Our room was spacious, spotless and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. The lounge/bar was comfy and welcoming, and we also enjoyed the complimentary sherry and cake. The property has lots of parking and very well located, just a short stroll from the beach and the town. A real gem of a find and we will definitely be back!
Without a doubt, I regard this hotel to be first class. I have been twice now , both times in September this year and last. I cannot find a fault, and find everything to my liking. Quiet and no dogs. Breakfast is superb and the rooms and service also. The standard is high and I like it!
Friendly and accommodating staff. Very comfortable communal areas. The breakfast was excellent
Would have liked a slightly larger room and we both view showers over bath with apprehension due to our age.
Superb hotel in a quiet conservation area. Very easy to find and access with ample off street parking. Rooms and facilities are excellent and the best breakfast ever with good quality local ingredients and homemade jam, marmalade and Musil that can see you through the day. 15 mins walk from the beach, shops, cinema and pier. Lovely garden to sit out in. Have booked for next year.
We were part of a coach party on a four night break, and we’re impressed how they dealt with a sudden influx of guests and luggage.
The en-suite bedroom was immaculately clean and presentable, with a lovely bright bathroom and excellent shower. Perhaps a bit more shelving for two lots of soap bags would be good, but that’s a minor detail.
The serving staff in the dining room couldn’t do enough for us and were highly organised - amazing fresh breakfasts (and wonderful fresh kippers!) conjured up by Dan the chef and his small team.. as part of the package we also had evening meals, which varied every night and was of faultless quality. The owner/managers are very well organised, and are available to answer any questions or help with info.
The location of the hotel was also a bonus. Lovely area, quiet, lots of parking and within a quick walk of the coastal path and the pier.
Would definitely return.
Great location, welcoming host and good parking.
Stay made easy by check in/out seamlessly and well informed about local area.
We stayed for 1 night only but we’ll definitely be returning. Such a lovely hotel, with warm friendly staff. Our room was beautiful and immaculate. Comfy bed and great en suite with a fantastic shower. Breakfast was very good too
Have just returned after spending three lovely days at this excellent hotel. We have stayed here many times over the last few years and it never fails to come up to expectations. The hotel is situated in a quiet, tree lined avenue close to the centre of Cromer with ample free parking. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean,as a less than mobile couple we asked for and were allocated a room with a walk in shower. Martin,Shaun and the breakfast team are both friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. There is a varied breakfast menu with multiple choices, all made with local ingredients. Free sherry and cake is available in the lounge in the afternoons together with an honesty bar. Altogether another lovely experience we look forward to our next visit and have no hesitation in recommending this gem of an hotel.
