Smoking is not permitted in any of the guest’s rooms. If a guest is found to have smoked in a room, a fee of GBP 250.00 will be charged on the card used to make the reservation. Please note, if any damage is done to the room during the guest's stay, the cost of the repairs or replacement of items will be charged to the guest's credit card. Kindly note the property cannot process payments from American Express credit cards, and an alternative card will be required. Please note that the card used to make the booking has to be present upon arrival

Cheap.
Walls are very thin so you hear everything. Room can only be described as a cupboard! I was next to the bathroom so people using the toilet all night and early morning was a pain. Room was really hot. Suffocating. No ventilation. Bed was hard as a rock. Didn't sleep well. Served it's purpose but wouldn't book again.

Very practical hotel (i had the small room which only fits a bed + desk). Right next to Hackney station, so well-connected to the city center
Room temperature cannot be adjusted and was set rather high
Location was above excellent central for buses shops and trains
The room was like an oven very stiffling.

L'hôtel est situé près de la station bus et les environnements sont vivants, il y a des restaurants et des magasins à proximité. Le personnel est très accueillant, compréhensif et sympathique. Les lits sont confortables et les chambres sont jolies, comme sur les photos.
Il n'y a malheureusement pas d'escalier pour accéder ni à la réception, ni aux chambres, seulement un ascenseur (mis à part les escaliers qui déclenchent l'alarme incendie). Ceci est un inconvenient pour les personnes soufrant de claustrophobie, comme moi. Mais heureusement, le personnel a été très compréhensif face à ma situation. Au niveau de l'entretien, dans la chambre le thermostat ne fonctionnait pas, donc il faisait froid.
Super clean room, great standard. Photos were accurate, I had a double room with great space to move around and place suitcase etc. Only thing missing was a window but apart from that 10/10. BIG PLUS is the reception being open 24/7!
Seemed nice and compact at first, the worst was to follow...
The room had no window which wasnt stated in the listing, also it said 'small room' but this was extremely small like a standard bathroom! It was a cold night outside but became unbearably hot inside and there is no temperature control anywhere within the room. Had to ask for a fan at the front desk downstairs at approx 2am, the first small square electric fan he gave me wasnt doing anything, I went back downstairs again and asked if I could pay the difference to be put into a bigger room but he said they were fully booked, the second fan he gave me was cooler but still not adequate for sleep in such a tiny space. Also noise travels freely through the walls, I could hear loud rushing water through pipes and chatter nearby. When I went downstairs there were other people in the lift also grumbling about how bad their room was. This hotel is cheap but its cheap and nasty rather than cheap and cheerful. You cannot sell rooms this small and expect the room to be inhabitable.
When I later contacted the hotel to complain she ignored the complaint about the heat, when I reminded again it was ignored, without any satisfactory apology other than a 'sorry to hear' business blurb. Absolutely appalling, discourteous scam outfit. Avoid.
Great location next to the station. Lots of good food and shops nearby. Easy to find.
No bar area or space to chill in reception outside of the room. No room service or bar.
The price, the location and the staff made this great value.
The furniture and fittings are all a bit worn so it looks quite scruffy in places. Nobody cleaned the room while I stayed there so the rubbish bins were full after a few days.
The location was central to wherever you wanted to go and right next to a tube stop (Hackney central). Bonus points for the little tv you get in your room.
The photos online are completely misleading. The “room” isn’t a room it’s a shoebox. The layout is 5 bedrooms with 1 toilet. 5 rooms to 1 toilet and shower was extremely annoying and felt like I had to wait ages for the other person to finish. With how close each room is you can hear every bang of the rooms doors if not shut slowly, and with 5 people in 1 space you could imagine how noisy it is with people coming and going at all hours. If you’re in a big group I suppose it’ll be good to share the 5 bed space together but on your own mixed? Nope. lastly the room was like an OVEN. It was so hot you almost couldn’t sleep. I slept above the covers and I was still too hot! I would recommend the Zedwell capsules instead so much nicer and really quiet.
