Ohana Resort and Restaurant

Ett utmärkt hotell med bra service.

Exceeded expectations.
Staff were fantastic, grounds were lovely. Yes some parts needed updating but this is a family run establishmenr who really took the effort to look after us.
Breakfast was excellent quality with omlettes made to order.
Resort is quiet, with beach across the road, 7 Eleven and a few seafood restaurants down the road. No nighlife.

If you enjoy loud elevator music all over the area from 9.00–9.00 every day,, you should go here. I do not. Nowhere to sit in the room and just beanbags on the balcony. Staff friendly and listened to you,, but nothing happened when you asked for something. Nice poolarea but due to the loop of pianomusic you could not enjoy it. There is no pool bar. We stayed a week,, but wanted to change hotel after 1 night. Will not go back.

The photo’s on line are no way the actual look of the Resort. There is no pool bar !! There is a large grossly dirty fish hole right where the eating area is. There is s pool table with No Que (White) No Eight (Black ) ball and is missing 4/5 other balls. The breakfast is not bad. The swimming pool is large, but no pool towels and only a few pool chairs.

Nice staffs, hotel close to the beach. Better to have car.

Lovely little resort just off the beach. Nicely designed garden including a stream with fish, small water features and two swimming pools (one is sand bottomed? But there is some repair needed. Some things are breaking down, looking old.

The little bungalow was nice. Breakfast was one of the best I have experienced recently. Unfortunate that the surrounding area is not so nice. Lots of run down buildings and the beach is very trashy. Sad to see little care goes into to keeping such a beautiful resource, beautiful.

So enjoy the resort, and maybe a dinner at one of the many seaside, seafood restaurants. But keep your blinders on...

The hotel near natural park and not far from local fruit market.

Sauberkeit, freundlichkeit, service, essen war alles super, gab überhaupt nichts auszusetzen! Auch die hotelanlage war genial!

The environment is full of trees and plants, which is good and nice. But, they are not well taken care of. We found a lot of ants at the entrance of our cottages. Besides, my friend found an ant nest under her bed...so horrible. She and her husband then went to stay with other friends in their room for the night cos it was around 2am in the morning. In addition, I found that my hands were full of bites from fleas after that night. The mattress and the blank were not cleaned thoroughly. But, the other three rooms did not encounter this issue. I trust that it's just a matter of attentiveness.This will surely be a charming place if the hotel can look into these aspects.

Location is little bit far from the main beach they must be more good services then other resort but they're not

Situé à environ 200 mètres de la plage, le complexe n'est plus dans un état de fraicheur exceptionnel et ce malgré le prix demandé pour y séjourner. Vraiment cela manque cruellement d'entretien. Impossible de passer à côté de cet constatation. L'accueil est cependant très cordial et à ce sujet, rien à redire. Le restaurant et le bar sont très correct ainsi le service. Les prix sont très correct et compétitifs par rapport aux restaurants qui se trouvent à l'extérieur. Le point positif était le jacuzzi sur notre terrasse extérieure mais pour cela nous avions dû prendre la suite. Nous n'y retournerons pas même si nous avons malgré cela passé un excellent moment.

Our first visit to Rayong, Booked 3 nights after comparing in location, resort style, guests' reviews.

Reached Ban Phe, immediately got a taxi as Ohana doesn't sound strange to him.

At Check-in, staff carefully explained that the resort was booked for an Event - Pool Party involving Loud Music, DJs, Outside guests etc, and they were worried if we might find that disturbing to our privacy. Our Tidy Room faced the DJ stage and pool ( Best view ), was offered free upgrade to Canopy for more privacy.

After seeing both rooms design, we decided to stay put as TidyRoom was lovely, spacious ( including large Jacuzzi tub ), an outdoor relaxing porch.

Rented a bike 350baht for 24hr use. Useful for traveling around Rayong. Many seafood eatery on the main road 5mins walk from Ohana. The food is fresh and yummy !!
Ohana serves buffet breakfast and all-day ala carte menu. We had only breakfast in hotel.
Staff prepares Great Coffee consistently.!!

All Staff were very polite and happy, Attentive and thoughtful. Our room was serviced ONLY when we left for the pool, so our in-room privacy was respected.
Almost forgot mention the sand pool, no need go to the real beach.!

เข้าพักช่วงกำลังปรับปรุง หลายอย่างเลยไม่สวยงาม เก่า ทรุดโทรม น้ำที่เปิดใส่อ่างนวดตัวมีสีอมเหลืองจนเป็นคราบติดอ่าง เห็นชัดเจนตอนเปิดน้ำทิ้งออกแล้ว น่าจะมีที่ให้ล้างทรายที่ติดเท้าก่อนเข้าห้องด้วย

The hotel have excellent service from the staff, and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere with 2 great pools. The food in the restaurant was great aswell.
