Adequate stay for 1 night but not a £40 a night hotel
Pros:

The bed was comfortable
The man who was there at check out was nice and helpful in advising how to get to the bus station

Cons:

The bathroom was quite run down and the hair dryer didn’t work in the bathroom. A lot of the sockets also seemed quite sketchy
Having now stayed in other hotels around Sri Lanka I do not understand how the hotel is £40 a night. It is a £20 a night hotel at best.

Scheduled an interview over zoom while I stayed here, the WiFi worked so poorly and no one was available to help me.

Great stop over place, good value for money for a city centre hotel!
Pros:

Port View City Hotel is situated a short walk from Pettah Market and the hustle and bustle of the city. It was very easy to locate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed and good a/c. The breakfast was sufficient.

Cons:

The rooms are a little tired, our window catch was broken. You had to ask for the roof top terrace to be unlocked.

Pros:

Chegámos de madrugada e não tivemos problemas no check in. Foram muito simpáticos e não temos falhas a apontar no atendimento. A localização é central, numa avenida muito movimentada mas que não implica qualquer desconforto. Recomendo.

Die gute Lage und das sehr freundliche Personal

Cons:

Nicht besonders sauber, kein Room Make-up nach der ersten Nacht.
Keine Antwort auf die Frage, ob Check-in um 4:00 möglich ist, oder das Buchen eines Tages zuvor. Dann kein Check-in um 4 - erst um 12:30, armes Frühstück
