First thing notice was the sulfur smell from the local water source from the bathrooms but very clean and well kept. Staff and owner are friendly and attentive. Would remocommend

Pros:

I liked the lodge, it is clean and love the nature. The back balcony has a beautiful river. I did not like the odor of the sink’s water and TV doesn’t work.
Overall we are enjoying our stay.

Beautiful wooden lodge family owned and operated. They have a delicious breakfast available. A beautiful ballroom on the lower level for events or just hanging out there. 10 to 15 minutes from Hunter Mountain resort, Hunter village’s Main Street where you can find restaurants and shops, and another 8 minutes drive to Tannersville’s Main Street as well. Fully Recommended.

Staff was very helpful and gave recommendations for things to see and do, dining options etc. Space was a little tight but since we had no kids this trip, it was fine. Quick easy access to Hunter and even Tannerville.

Perfect weekend getaway hub for both summer and winter activities Catskill Mountains can offer. Cozy rustic style rooms and beautiful next to the river location with mountain view. Ukrainian cuisine dinner options are priceless.

Property was very clean and cozy. Wi-Fi was non existent several meters from the main office. I was unable to connect my devices. TV was 20” at best and seemed to be from the early 2000’s. Hard to see from the bed. It was very warm inside the room. Overall a good experience but it was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in.
