Three night stay in. Helmsley.
Pros:

Location is great. Staff are friendly and obliging. Bed very comfortable. Food excellent.

Cons:

Parking is poor. Four spaces for over 20 rooms, and the historic nature of the village ends up with cars parked all over the place.

The hotel was Warm and friendly the staff were very nice nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Location is perfect, right in the centre. Room was huge and lovely. The bed was really comfortable.

Cons:

Being an old property some of the floors were a little creaky and the sound travelled. But this was a minor thing for me, I’m not a light sleeper.

Pros:

Beautiful, old fashioned hotel. Large room with huge, comfortable bed and luxury touches... Roberts DAB radio, nespresso machine and high end toiletries. Welcoming, professional staff. Great breakfast. The icing on the cake is its location, overlooking Helmsley market square. Minutes from the castle, pretty shops and cafes/restaurants. The perfect base for exploring North Yorkshire. Many thanks.
