Lovely comfy beds. Rain shower head. Great location for walking to main attractions/facilities.

Had daily breakfast voucher for Goose cafe in same street which was very good.

First & last time we will stay here.
Pros:

It was nicely renovated

Cons:

It said breakfast included but you actually got a $20 voucher each for the very expensive cafe down the road.
There was someone’s soap left in the shower disgusting. No early check in, even after we requested one.
Staff were trying very hard to be helpful but were very fake.
The restaurant at the hotel isn’t anything to do with the hotel.

An excellent, value-for-money hotel, close to the centre of Cairns. A quiet and well-appointed hotel
Pros:

The $40 breakfast vouchers for each day were an absolute and unexpected bonus! The room was quiet and clean and well furnished. The full size fridge, hotplate and microwave were excellent.

Cons:

On out-of-hours check in there were no parking instructions - we just had to work it out. I had to ask 3 times for a plug for the sink to wash the dishes.

Apart from Air Con... Would have been an excellent stay
Pros:

Room overall was excellent... All but one item was excellent... AAAA++++ However the one item was substantial
Very Clean... Bed was comfy... Crisp clean bedding... TV had all channels including You Tube... Shower hot and steady... Fridge cold... Close to beach and food outlets

In Cairns Air Con is a necessity... Room 103 Air Con not working properly... Air unit looked damaged... Unfortunately we arrived late and by the time we realized the Air Con was defective the Admin was closed... Next Morning upon checkout Air Con was reported however attendant made no notes... ???

Aircon didn't operate.
We didn't see any staff at all on arrival and departure; access to the rooms was not clear via message sent through and no one answered the intercom as instructed at the main entry door.
